No love for Nicky S.? I ran across this old topic and realized that no one posted. Anyone else a fan of Carnivale? Stahl totally redeemed himself in that role, IMHO.

Never seen any episode of "CARNIVALE", but his roles in BULLY and IN THE BEDROOM were good. Even in T3 he was a decent John Connor IMO.

Ben Hawkins is definitely his signature role so far. When you get this much time and the writing is this good, it gives you a chance to show what you're made of.

I'd put his multifaceted and memorable performance in Bully a close second.

He's got a great future ahead of him.

I watch Carnivale and he's the main reason. I first really noticed him in Bully and was blown away-one of those performances like Ryan Gosling in The Believer.

In In The Bedroom, when he died, I didn't want to watch the movie anymore.
