Freddy's Claw

A nightmare on Elm Street 1: Where it shows the man Spying on Nancy... it had a purpus but we would of found out.

A nightmare on elm Street 2: There it shows the coach naked in the shower.

A nightmare on Elm Street 3: Joey's powers were kind of stupid... big deal so he can't talk.

A nightmare on Elm Street 4: No Scary Beginning?

A nightmare on Elm Street 5: Death Scenes were Cheesy.

Freddy's Dead: The final Nightmare: When He's Rolling down the hill... so fake, you could tell he could stop from rolling.

Wes Craven's New Nightmare: Can't Think of any thing.

Freddy vs. Jason: Acting was a little bad.

the main problem i have with parts 2-6 are Freddy's one liners, they really piss me off

the only thing i have agains Freddy Vs Jason is Rowlands final speech which was delivered awefully

Freddy's reaction to her was class though; "How sweet, dark meat..."

Me and my friends always laughed so bad at the second one. The beginning wasn't even scary. We used to call it Freddy's buttcrack

I would say the crappiest scene is when Freddy pulls Nancy's mother through the tiny ass window.

One word - "superfreddy". That bit in 4 or 5 (can't be bothered to check which) where Fred turns into a superhero and kills a comic book geek.

Thankfully he toned himself down a bit in FvJ, making himself seem slightly less camp.

Most of Freddy's Dead would count as the worst part of the series in my opinion.

That was one of the cops Nancy's dad had watching her. She sees him right before they come and apprehend Rod. "You set me up, Dad?"

the soul pizza scene. when fred opens the pizza box and the heads of all the people he killed are on the pizza screaming. dont know which movie its in. dont give a damn. might be one of the dumbest scenes in any movie ever.

Second that. I think Part 4 is by far the worst of the series - I thought that cockroach-transformation bit was mighty awful as well.

For some reason, I was never a big fan of Johnny Depp's death scene. It didn't do it for me, nor was as classic as other people thought.

I also didn't like how they recast Patricia Arquette in the 4th movie. Although the 4th is my favorite of the series, I always think recasting is so tacky. I wonder if Arquette turned them down or they never asked her.

I had to respond to my theory of this. A lot of people might think it is stupid that Joey's power is to talk but I think the point is missed. It is symbolic. When Jennifer first introduces Joey during the group session where Nancy meets all the kids she says "This is Joey. He used to be a debater in school but now he doesn't talk much." So Joey obviously could speak before (and quite a bit at that) if he was on the debate team. I think its supposed to be implied that he stopped speaking when he encountered KRUEGER. Like he lost his voice out of fright. So at the end of the movie when he screams and gets his voice back its not just that he can talk. It's about him standing up to his fear. Standing up to KRUEGER gave him his voice back. In a way his power is symbolic of courage. Or maybe I just read into it too much. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

two and 6 are so shit in many so many ways Id could write an essay but umm the bit where he cuts the deaf kids ear off and says lend me your ear, that and the bit where alic cooper beats a young freddy with his belt, but the whole concept that freddy had a wife and kids and that only one kid could be left in a twight zoned springwood,

but the worst bit has to goto, when the dream doctor asks he to put on the 3d glasses, umm oh my god!

He REALLY hates FREDDY/A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET. You can check out the thread he made yesterday in General Horror asking if anyone else on the boards hates both FREDDY and JASON. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

Yeah I had to read it a couple of times myself. I guess his anger and hatred for all things FREDDY had him really flustered. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

It actually reminded me of an episode of the Simpsons where Homer goes into this ramble and he starts slurring his words, and changing the subject the entire time.

Maybe when Freddy ripped off Kristen's mother's head in NOES 3, and then the disembodied head keeps bitching at Kristen for "ruining her love life."

Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't Kristen's dream power to bring people into her dreams and if Freddy killed them in her dream, then they were dead for real? But Kristen's mom went on to be in NOES 4. Freddy killed her in the dream and she didn't die.

teenkiller

Yeah but Kristin didn't bring her mother into her dream. She was just an illusion created by FREDDY. I mean if she was the real deal she wouldn't have continued bitching after her head got ripped off. She would have just died right there. ANDELAY!! Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

NOES1: The goat, I just don't get the goat...

NOES2: Unlike most NOES fans I love parts 2 & 6. They're easily better than 4 or 5 and I feel among the best in the serries. I think if the coach wouldn't have been into S&M or beaten naked in a shower that scene wouldn't be too bad. The worst scene in this is easily when Jesse is cleaning his room and air humping a toy gun.

NOES3: The Wiz Kid. I almost feel bad laughing when he gets killed in this movie. Almost....

NOES4: I just don't like Alice in general as the lead. She's a lame character. Nancy would whoop her ass. Maybe even Jesse could.

NOES5: That motorcycle death is horrible. Like made for tv movie horrible.

NOES6: I didn't like that Freddy's daughter killed him. Or that Freddy even had a daughter.

NOES7: The poorly done earthquake effects.

FVJ: Anything trying to potray some essence of a plot or reasoning. Especially making Jason the hero. WTF? The plot in this is so horrible. Only a true Freddy or Jason fan could find this movie watchable.

Nightmare On Elm Street: the whole cheesy ending, with the Freddymobile
Nightmare On Elm Street 2: the entire pool party sequence.
Nightmare On Elm Street 3: Kincaid's annoying ass voice, plus the entire wizard master sequence.
Nightmare On Elm Street 4: Freddy comes back from the grave via dog piss!!
Nightmare On Elm Street 5: Super Freddy (cringe!!!)
Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare: the entire fucking movie!!!
Wes Craven's New Nightmare: Nancy's annoying ass son, plus that bitch doctor.
Freddy vs. Jason: Lori's acting, plus that Destiny Child's bitch

NOES7: The poorly done earthquake effects.

Grabbed this from the IMDB trivia on the New Nightmare Page:

All of the earthquake sequences in the film were actually filmed one month prior to the Los Angeles quake of '94. The real quake struck only 2 weeks before the end of filming. Subsequently, a unit was sent out to film drive-by footage of actual quake damaged areas of the city before the end of filming. The cast and crew believed that the earthquake scenes that were filmed before the real quake struck were perhaps a bit overdone, but when viewed after the real quake hit, all were frightened by the realism of it.

But if I had to choose one part as the worst of the series I'd prolly say the Freddy Nintendo power glove in Freddys Dead...ugh...

Wow, I really can't name a worst part in any of these gems, I love them so much. If I had to choose one scene, it would be the Wicked Witch bit in Freddy's Dead, or Super Freddy.

I'm suprised nobody has mentioned the power glove. Really? A fucking powerglove? That has got to be the worst.

I especially loved part 6. It was a different kind of movie, more comedy than anything and not a slasher flick at all.

Anyhow, here's my list:

1 - I seriously can't think of any
2 - The pool scene was pretty dumb
3 - scene in the bar with Nancy's father
4 - any scene with dialogue that's not Freddy's (loved his one-liners though), but if I had to pick just one, it's the way Freddy dies - a reflection? really? really dumb
5 - there's a scene where Yvonne is pulling this "I don't believe in ghosts" crap that really stinks
6 - this is like asking what was the dumbest part of Airplane!
7 - I can't remember. Haven't seen it in a long time, and didn't watch it dozens of times like the rest
8 - the end, and a lot more to be honest. Jason had the best parts. All of the Freddy parts were inane.
