This is gonna be quick because i dont like to write alot...

I love gone in 60 sec... im a cage fan.. a rabisi fan.. shit and everyone who was in that movie fan...so i had to have this edition...

you know how when you buy a directors cut of a movie and its not very different.. this is not the case.. whehn a new scene hasnt been added then the existing one has been updated.. conversations that took plce inside kips house now take place on the front porch... and so on...

to me it seemed like i was watching a remake of the movie.. it was so different.. i have neever seen a better change from an origional to a directors cut.. i challenge anyone who loves the old one (cage's old one) to watch this one and pick out all the differences... youll appreciate it...

the menus and extras are the same

A brand new film? Although I enjoyed the original cut, this sounds too good to be true.

Could you point some of the new additions and changes?

If there are really that many good changes, I'll have to pick this up.

Care to point any of your favorite additions?

ENTIRE SPEECHES TAKE PLACE IN DIFFERENT LOCATIONS.. SCENES ARE LONGER.. Do you remeber a chopper in the movie??Kip is working on one in this film.. the porche race is longer.. and on and on and on

Interesting if you say it is indeed that different. I always felt that porsche race at the begining was way too short. Is that what you're talking about?

My friend watched the Coyote Ugly extended cut (released at the same time by the same company) and he said the menus were identical to the original version, and that there was nothing added to the movie other than some extended dialogue, except for the now softcore, Cinemax style sex scene that was only hinted at.

Even the old commentary was recycled - they simply added blank moments of silence where the new scenes are inserted. Funny enough, they even reffer to the cut scenes in the commentary in a "too bad that was cut" kinda way. But now they're actually in the movie. Sounded like a pretty shoddy SE to me.

I assumed Gone in 60 Seconds would get the same treatment. But if you really think it's that different, I'll give it a look.

You guys are smokin crack. In no way whatsoever would I call this a monumental, or even dramatic improvement.

A few lines are different. A couple character scenes. That's it. And all in the first half hour.

The deleated scenes are still deleated.

Does it make it a better movie? Well, yes, I guess - in the same way a swimming pool is a better pool if the water goes all the way up to the top as opposed to just a few inches from the top.

Glad I didn't buy this.
