Horror Movie Anecdotes!

I don't think anyone's ever done this - does anyone have any funny stories/anecdotes about things that happened while watching horror movies??

Here's mine:

Well, this happened yesterday and made me think of doing this post because its funny. I was seeing "Land of the Dead" for the first time at the theatre, and I was enjoying it early on. But I had just guzzled an entire Regal Cinemas Medium soda (those are huge now), and I reaaallly had to pee. I tried waiting for the best time to go, but everything was actionous or interesting, so I waited, and finally just had to run to the bathroom. I was sooo afraid I would miss something that I rushed up the exit ramp of my theatre and as I zoomed around the corner to the door, smashed my arm into a sharp part of the banister. It sliced my arm and left a 3 inch gash. I was so hurried that I didnt notice for a while. Then I looked down as it was bleeding and it was actually kinda cool - I took one for the Dead team. Anyway it still hurt and every time I thought about it in the theatre (it was all open and nasty) I would shiver. Then it started swelling like a big welt. It kinda looked like a make-up effect. And then the first person in the movie gets bit by a zombie. And for the rest of the movie I could not stop thinking my wound was going to turn into something horrible like in "Cabin Fever".

Anyway, it ended up enhancing the experience, as I kept slipping into fantasy-land and getting paranoid that I was going to get infected ala 28 days Later and turn into a zombie or something...

It was cool...

Uh, thats kinda weird but i got one.

This was a while ago during like 6th grade, im not sure it will be funny to read, but it was to be there. Some names have been changed to protect the innocent.
My friend Rob invited me and a bunch of dudes over his house for a Halloween party. We were in 6th grade so a party means, pizza, cake, soda, video games and horror flicks. One of our friends Joey was really jumpy so when he was up at the bathroom I said to the rest, lets scare the shit out of him!!
Well Rob had every Halloween flick on video except for 3. It was decided to scare during one of the Halloweens. So theres like seven of us watching H4, near the end when Michael is in the house. It was like 10 or 11 at night, pitch black, tv on full blast for the effect. Me Joey and this kid Chris were on the couch facing the tv while Rob and the rest were of to the side on the floor and in chairs. Without Joey seeing I put my foot up on the table to signal Robs attack.
Rob gets upslowly and quietly, sneaking behind Joey, Im tryin not to laugh, as well as everyone else. Rob crouches behind the couch ready to punch. Then all of a sudden Rob jumps up screaming. IM GONNA KILL YOU!!!!!!
Joey freaks the fuck out. He had a bag of chips in his hand, they go flying through the air all over the couch and floor. He bolts off the couch, trys to run and trips over the rug under the table, falling like a brick. all the while screaming like a girl.
Everyone was laughing there ass off. We felt ba afterward but he took it like a champ.
