What do you guys know about this flick?

I heard it was lost in a fire back in the day and there are no copies left, yet we have all these pictures and such from it. they must have come from some place?

There's a "photo reconstruction" of London After Midnight in THIS (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0000B1O9L/qid=1120772007/sr=8-1/ref=pd_bbs_ur_1/102-1543440-5791314?v=glance&s=dvd&n=507846) box set, but I don't think that it will ever be released as a motion picture. A shame. Chaney's self-applied make-up in the film is astounding. In fact, I used to have his mugshot as my avatar.

I remember reading that it's rumoured that a copy of the film exists in the hands of a private collector in Canada, but it's only a rumour.
