Sumatra Rat Monkey, or world's ugliest dog?

I don't know if anyone else has seen this yet, but it's a pick of the World's Ugliest Dog.

The report is in Chinese (I got the link from collegehumor.com), but damn that dog looks like Peter Jackson's Dead Alive/Brain Dead Sumatra Rat Monkey LOL!!

I hastily read ithis, I think it says something to the effect of:

"Mama Lin’s" (guessing that's his name) health has been increasingly worsening day by day, and it’s feared that he doesn’t have much longer to live. However, Sam was still able to attend the commemoration of the July 4th American Indepenence Day holiday celebration in Santa Barbara. This picture was taken on June 28th, while a number of fans showed respect to the purebred Chinese “guanmao” dog.
