WILLIAMS SISTER COMPETE FOR 'X-MEN' ROLE

Tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams are competing against each other again -- this time for a part in the movie "X-Men 3."
The sisters are both desperate to branch out into the movie world, by playing a bisexual prostitute in the film sequel, opposite Halle Berry and Ian McKellen.

But Serena is tipped to win the coveted role, because she reportedly dated the movie's director Brett Ratner.

An insider tells British newspaper The Sun, "Brett feels either of the girls would be fantastic for the role, which is a superhero who oozes sex appeal. Her great power is the ability to seduce anyone."

What is going on with X-Men 3. Everything I hear gets worse and worse. Neither of the Williams sisters will be good in this movie simply because they are not actresses, they are tennis players. So now Serena could appear in the movie because she's slept with the director? Chirst, fuck talent, if they look like the comic book character, they must be a good choice. At this rate X3 is going to "suck major balls".

Sorry but neither of the tennis playing sisters does it for me at all! Yes they can play tennis like a fine painter and transform a canvas but unless they have some acting in those athletic genes this could spell doom.

firt two are good, then a new shit director comes and fucks it and is hated forever.
if they fuck up x-men they sould at least fuck it up MY WAY. as in had every one of the coolest dudes from the team show up and have the dark phoenix then the shi'ar shoow up to kill her and x-men fight the imperial guard then magneto gets his new awesome brotherhood then the army sends like 1000 sentinals to kill him and he reprograms them all to kill humans like in ultimate x-men, then the x-man and every mutant ever whos not evil shows up and we have 20 minutes of them going nuts and killing sentinals. then end
or just take all the best episodes of the show and make them movies.

Why the Williams' sisters? It seems a little odd that he thought of them, has Serna got naked pictures of Brett or something? There's something going on, at least he could have picked an actual actress to play the role and not do some dumb favour for an ex-girlfriend who wants to be a actress.

Not only do I not like the idea of non-actors starring in films, but I don't even like this character being in the story at all. This stinks.

On a better note, at least the Angel casting was promising.

That's the reason why they are even being considered. If he hadn't have dated her she wouldn't be in with a chance. Ratner is just using the X-Men franchise to launch an ex into the movie world, probably in an attempt to get back in her pants. Ratner should be pulled from this project if he's going to use personal things effect this movie.

He should have never been considerd in the first place.

Considering that he was originaly in charge of the Supes movie, and Singer had X3, i find this to be more then just coincidence that the directors swapped projects, and more the move of a bitter studio in a way to get back at Singer.

I hope that despite everything that X3 rocks the free world, its script still isnt THAT bad, in fact, its pretty decent, but Ratner was a horrible pick, and seems content to f$$ with an already flawed project in all the wrong ways...at every turn.

Despite all this however, the Rats not even my main gripe, its that Fox seems content to utterly ruin the series by trying to rush it out the door to meet Superman rather then have it be a quality movie.:mad:

I really can not see either sister having either sex appeal or the acting skills to be on screen with the likes of Hugh Jackman, Halley Berry, Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen.
