I bought this on a wim. I knew it wasn't going to be too good. I thought it would be like Bride of Chucky which wasn't too bad. I watched it and oh my god did it suck.
SPOILERS
Their son was a fag or a cross dresser. A split personality thing or whatever the hell he was. The movie was horrible. They finally had Tiffany transfer into a body. Which brings me to this. Let's not have Jennifer Tilly play herself and the doll. Horrible idea. She was so bad in this movie for some reason. Redman in the movie should automaticlly make this a nose dive. But anyways the only good thing about it is that Chucky said he digs being a killer doll. Then at the end his arm lashes outa nd looks like it kills his son.. So maybe they can save the series and bring it back to Chucky all alone and no more fucking sidekick puppets

Dont forget to factor in the obvious problem that his parents are nutcases, not even real people, and somehow he is alive and made of rubber and plastic...

Wait a second. Since Tiffany got herself in a human body what happened to glen/glenda? I know she gave birth to twins but what if/did she do the lil' spell and send the puppet kid into one of her natural born bodies? Could have happened and then we've got one fucked sequel.. Bah.
I do agree though, this film was a pile of shit.

I enjoyed the film, personally. I just took it as a comedy with some great gore (loved the acid reporter and the Britney Spears gag:D ). Also, I'm a huge Brad Dourif fan, so that helps, I guess. It's not scary in the least, but I laughed out loud several times.

I loved the first hour of this movie, I think I shed a tear laughing at some point. Funny, funny stuff. The latter half was stupid, but the first is gold.
"Ha! Looks like the kid fell from the ugly tree and hit every branch on his way down! Imagine how his PARENTS look like!"
Hilarious.

I really loved Seed of Chucky. It gave me all I was expecting and more. I actually liked it more than Bride because while dark yet comedic, it had too much of a Scream edge to it at times. Also, Jesse and Jade were completely oblivious twats!
And EvilDeadGirl, I thought it was pretty obvious that Glen got transferred into the boy twin and Glenda into the girl twin. :p

I thought this movie was great, up my alley and I want a copy when it is more reasonable at the used store. I give it two tits up! ( o ) ( o ) :D

Speaking of breasts, it was pretty hilarious when Tiffany flashed Chucky. :p

But I laughed my ass off when they pull down his pants and both stare puzzled at his blank crotch.

I thought it was great up until Glen turned into to Glenda. That was just a step to far. And going Kung-Fu on Chucky was a little to far as well, but overall good for yuck yucks.
"Whats your name?"

I thought the movie was good, as long as people watch for it is an entertaining horror movie that makes fun of itself at every turn. If your watching it expecting a smart thought provking horror movie then yes you will be very let down. There were quite a few scenes that I was busting a gut laughing over.

How about choosing your words a little more carefully?
Why are comments like this tolerated on this forum? It's incredibly offensive and disrespectful to gay members.
Reading such comments from members who should possess some moral ability makes me beyond livid. If you don't like a movie simply because you believe a character in it is gay (or "a fag," as you put it) you have some serious issues with hate.

I figured that someone would bring that up. Jason, "fag" isn't the best term to use on a message board that is visited by thousands of different people everyday.
As far as Seed is concerned, it was okay. I don't love it and I don't hate it.

One of the most outrageous, hilarious movies I've ever seen in my entire life! You've gotta see it to believe it! Title character Glen/Glenda is a keeper!

I find it mind-boggling that a moderator still hasn't took mention of the issue I addressed last night. Upon breezing through the rules of the forum, I saw that respecting other members was an absolute must and there wouldn't be any leniency on such a matter. I would think that deriding someone's sexuality would fall under disrespect.

I just think people are honest here and talk the way they always do and feel like they are free to do so here. If they say words like fag, I do not think they are even thinking about everyone and their dog. If they were calling someone that word who post's here then that would not be tolerated by Joblo. I like to say fuck, most message boards will not let you do that. There are things I hate that are said here, even screen names that are gross but I deal with it because they are not attacking me personally. They are saying what they feel free to say within reason. I try not to be so sensitive, and when I feel that way, I take a pamprin. :D

OH NO! What are you going to send G.L.A.A.D after me now? Look bud I didn't call anybody on this board a fag. I said the character in "Seed Of Chucky" was a fag. If the puppet wants to file a civil suit against me, by all means he can. I hate how people think just because someone uses the word "fag" that I am hating the whole gay community. I say fag all the time. If you even look at where the word orginated it means cigarette. So unless your a Brittish cigarette maybe you shouldn't complain. God I hate when people get so touchy about words.

Also to be more liberal here. How would you like me to phrase my opinion of the character? Do you want me to say he was a fine member of our gay community? He hits for the wrong team? What then? I just want to know what is acceptable here. That was my opinion on the character. A person in a movie that does not EXIST! So please help me out. I'm not trying to be a jerk here. I just want to know what words I can and cannot use to describe homosexuality

I took the whole Glen/Glenda thing as a split personality. Guess you got me there. ;)
Alright guys n gals can we get back on topic here before this thread gets shut down.
Oh and maybe I'm a little slow here. (Shaddup! :p) But Glen or Glenda? Ed Wood reference perhaps? Niiiiice.

Ya back to the topic at hand. The movie sucked. i wasn't expecting much but still. All I can say is wow. Anytime you add a rapper as a character in a horror movie it ends up bad. People who aren't actors shouldn't try to be. This movie made me feel like Chucky wasn't important. It seemed to be based more on Tiffany and The he/she kid. I miss the wise cracking/killer doll from "Child's Play 2". I could deal with part 3 and Bride wasn't so bad. This movie looks as if they haven't even tried. I liked the opening scene
SOILERS
When the kid goes around and kills that family. I was excited after seeing that. I said "Yes! he is going to kick ass and this movie will rock!" Then it just went down hill. I mean it literally took the biggest nose dive in story I have ever seen. The movie just plain old sucks. So do the extra features as well..
Rappers shouldn't try to act.. Musicians shouldn't try to act

Whether you were purposely being contemptious or not is besides the point. In the US, the word means something very offensive and very derogatory. Period. And as a gay man, I do take offense to hearing it used so casually. You use it all the time? Maybe you shouldn't. Hearing it only brings to mind the hate-driven members of society who frown on those whose sexual orientation differs from their own.
And count, I know you were just trying to make a point, but you could've chosen your words a little more carefully as well.

Huh? I don't think that African-American people will be offended by my post. The moral of the story is that you shouldn't always type the way you speak (not that I use the "n" word on a regular basis).

The whole point of that was to parody the whole "rappers put in horror movies to attract more target audience." For one, they kept picking on Redman the whole movie. Second of all, they actually give him one fucking violent death. Third, as a character, he didn't just serve as comic relief which was a breath of fresh air. His presence in the movie doesn't feel forced either. So, I really can't complain.

This is true. The point that I was trying to make was that if a word or phrase is offensive to others, than you just shouldn't use it at all.

It is time to break up this morality episode of The Walton's and get back to the topic. If you have a problem with something on the boards you know what to do, follow protocol.

The big deal is this guy likes to whine about a word that wasn't even directed at him. If I were gay and someone said fag, I would not care. But I am not gay so bad example. Anyways the thing is that it's only a word. It wasn't directed at you. So stop complaining

Actually, I haven't posted a comment in days, so my "whining" has ceased.
And no, the comment wasn't directed toward me, but I do take offense when I hear the word mentioned. It's an expression of hate, plain and simple, and if you can't understand that, then that's really sad. I feel sorry for you.

Having kinda like Bride of Chucky, I decided to check this out. Rented the Unrated Version.
One of the most pathetic & stupid films I've ever seen.
It failed as:
Horror
Spoof
Satire
Comedy
Action
To be fair, it did start out pretty good..that gender confused puppet was creepy and I had some high hopes when he snapped it would be brutal... but no... I got him wearing a dress..that came out of nowhere btw... after the first 20 minutes it just devolved into one big mess. It actually felt like they began making the crap up on the spot. The scariest thing about this flick was having to look at the ugly ass face of John Waters, BEFORE the acid hit it...The beginning: Not too bad... the middle: bad..the ending: Fucking pathetic.

We don't allow dis-respect on these boards.
The words: nigger, fag and cie are the equivilent of dis-respect here.
All should refrain from using them. It's a big deal to us and further use will result in bannings.
