Here it is shmoes, the tag team of Cruise and Steven Speilberg on War of the Worlds and Minority Report, which do u think was the better sci-fi hit?

Id have to go with Minority Report by a long shot, but i know alot of shmoes really loves WOTW.....so lets hear it!

It was very well paced, it made my heart race and I cared about the family.

Minority Report should've ended around a certain point. Nice idea, but it turned into a futuristic version of The Fugitive.

looks like i'm in the minority here, i like war of the worlds a lot better, while i did enjoy minority report i just couldn't get into the story or something i dont know, i just didn't "feel" it as much as i did WOW

While I don't think it necessarily "kicked its ass," I do think that Minority Report was slightly better than War of the Worlds; but not by much.

Was I the only one who thought these movies were kind of weak? Speilberg lost his focus here (and AI too). Both movies have tons of plot holes and terrible endings. I guess Minority Report is better, but that's like saying sweaty socks smell better than a dirty diaper.
