I loved Sin City, but it still has a long way to go in order to reach the greatness of Pulp Fiction.

Sin City may very well be the best movie ive seen this year, but its no Pulp.

But very few things are. No shame in coming in second in this race.

Sin City was good, but compared to Pulp Fiction it's nothing.

I am going to agree with the three previous posters. Then I am going to go further and say there is no real reason to even make this a poll. Sin City does not belong in the same sentence as Pulp Fiction, unless the sentence also contains "is no where close to as good as".

Pulp is an all time great. Sin City may be one of the better films of the year (even though I thought it was okay, but over rated...7ish/10)

I know theres no real reason for this thread. I thought since both films narratives are almost identical, I would see which you guys like the best.

Pulp Fiction was leagues better than Sin City, even though the latter was a terrific visual feast.

I thought Sin City was visually breathtaking and a blast to watch, but come on, nothing can touch Pulp Fiction.

Gotta agree with everyone here. Sin City is a really great flick, but Pulp Fiction is one of my all-time faves...so, it easily gets my vote.

In my opinion they both Blew

Pulp fiction - QT made it, and I really wanted to see it when it came out... God what a disappointing movie.

Sin City - Over hyped, this was a truely horrible film.

Sin City is definately a good movie. In my opinion, not as great as some think but ok. Pulp Fiction, on the other hand, is a cinematic masterpiece. It is right up there with movies like the Godfather, Scarface, and Goodfellas. There is absolutely no competition between these to movies.

Without Pulp Fiction there would be no Sin City.

Thats not even close to being true.

Pulp Fiction, as great as it is, is NOT responsible for every hard hitting movie that came out after it being made. Thats just silly.

:D That made me chuckle.

As far as there being no Sin City without Pulp Fiction, that's very not true. There would be no Sin City film without the Sin City comics. End of.

yeah, Sin City was a comic book too. Pulp Fiction had nothing to do with it being created.

Ok i maybe be shot for this, but i love where sin city is taken place. It also kinda has a film noir feel to it, i mean i ve just heard someone critise how we live in the decade where Technicolour remains to be the true method of todays film making ( yeah right !). If there trying to portray a story line from a comic, how are they to do it in colour where most of the comic itself is in the black and white. And as well they are not been a bunch of followers as well.

Look at the visual art put into this film, plus the characters moral and social values, each have their own unique kind, oh i aint saying that characters in piulp fiction dont have their own unique social and moral values, i too think that Pulp Fiction is a kick ass film

Alright im sorry ill get to the point
Pulp Fiction 9.5/10 Sin City 10/10

Sin City seems like a perfect film as I reflect on it: from the gorgeous damn-near unparalleled visual style to the completely self-gratifying, almost pornographic characters. Pulp just has a certain je ne sais quoi, that no other film can touch. So I choose Pulp Fiction, although I do think people are short-changing Sin City a bit.
Pulp Fiction 10/10
Sin City 9/10

Not for me. For me, Sin City isn't even as good as Kill Bill Vol. 2 which is, IMO, Tarantino's weakest effort.

Sin City-7/10 Visually this my be the most kick-ass movie ever made.Storywise it felt rushed in places, definately entertaing though.

Pulp Fiction-5/10 I don't no what is more overrated the movie or its director.

IM going to have to say that if pulp fiction had the effects of today, it would have been even crazier. But this is about original looks so i have to go with pulp fiction over sin city.

I think both Pulp Fiction (5/5) and Sin City (5/5) are brillant. If I had to choose, it would be Pulp Fiction.

Both great, but Pulp Fiction takes it. But Sin City has been the only movie close to being as badass as Pulp Fiction. Well, Snatch.

Oh yea, thats right YOU CAN'T!! Pulp fiction has heart and soul, Sin City is just gritty in your face crime which has been done a zillion times. So Pulp Fiction all the way. :D
