I am re-watching some of SNL's Best of on DVD so I am wondering....
What were the movie skits seen on the show in your opinion most memorable?
The only ones that I can recall was these two:
Dana Carvey does a James Caan like character who finds himself in bed while Roseanne who is the Kathy Bates role... Yes I am speaking the movie Misery.... And Roseanne gets pissy when she learns that Carvey who is not gonna be doin the church lady makes me dress up in character for her.
And the second one is a take off of Single White Female where it is The It's Pat character and I forget who played the carbon copy of Pat... Anyone care to recall?!? :(

YESSSSSS!!! I def. agree. That was the first skit that came to my mind. That and Chris Farley in the Chip n' Dales, and Mike Myers as "hyper-hypo" boy. "YOU'RE THE DEVIL!!" hahahaha. There's way too many to name all of them.

There're are a lot. I love a bunch of the ones on the first Best of Will Ferrell (favorites are the one with the family arguing at dinner, celebrity jeopardy, James Lipton, and the astronomer guy), Phil Hartman (UNFROZEN CAVEMAN LAWYER, Phil Donahue, Anal Retentive Chef), and Dana Carvey(who I think does the best impersonations, Bob Dylan, Frank Zappa, and Woody Allen are my favorites). I'd like to see more of the original cast, but it's hard to find their stuff.

Chris Walken's take-off on THE DEAD ZONE.

Oh God, that was hilarious. I also love his Continental skits, and the one where he and Cheri Oteri were yelling at the kids in the snow and she wanted him to dig her out using his snowblower.
The Celeb Jeopardy skits are funny and I love the one where Rob Lowe does his dead-on Shaggy impersonation, ranting about how hard it was being in Scooby-Doo. I never laughed so much in my life.

Hell yes. Good one.
Though I preferred Walken's "The Continental." Always loved that bit.

Hahahaha, I remember that, "So then I beat his face in with my crowbar, and I'm like, "YOU JUST GOT PRANKED!" I think it went something like that, I haven't seen it since it originally aired.

My favourite is Harry Carey on Space: The Infinite Frontier.
"Hey! Now Ken we all know that the moon is not made of green cheese."
"Yes! That's true Harry."
"But what if it were made of barbeque spare ribs would you eat it then? I know I would. Heck I'd have seconds. Then polish it off with a tall cool budweiser. I would do it..."
"Yeah..."
"Would you?"
" I'm confused."
"It's a simple question. Would you eat the moon if it were made of ribs?"
"I don't know how to answer that."
"It's not rocket science. Just say yes and we'll move on..."

Without a doubt, that's one of the funniest, and it's one of my favorites.
