Sick. On The Graduate dvd, there's an interview with Dustin Hoffman and he says he met with Mike Nichols and discussed a sequel in which Ben and Katherine are still together although their marriage is a bit rockey, they have two children and Anne Bancroft still comes round on the odd occasion. One of Ben's children, a 16-17yearold lad has a girlfriend who Ben starts to have flings with. He then says that Mike Nichols states "I get it, you become Mrs. Robbinson...and I know what you should be doing for a living...shooting tv commercials!"

I can honestly say the Hoffman's jokey idea had more to it than this heap'o'shite.

Boy, Anniston doesn't care what kind of shite she appears in anymore does she? This movie looks like a giant terd that's gonna back up the pipes.

I dont know what you guys are complaining about. Aside from that sad idea of Jenniffer Aniston being in it this actually sounds interesting. Better than doing a straight sequel to The Graduate. Still the rest of the cast which is great counterbalances Anniston

That sounds like a pretty good assessment of the situation.

Has she really ever been known for her superb taste in the films she makes? Shit, I can name about one movie she'd done which might be worth seeing.

On the set of his new movie, Robert Altman is laughing with misanthropic glee.

"Is it funny?"

Some people hailed The Good Girl as a quirky indie gem with a breakthrough film performance for Aniston...but I didn't see it that way.

i think they took the WRONG approach at this movie.

it should have had Dustin Hoffman return. same exact story except the roles have flipped. he should be Mr. Robinson and he should be doing Rachael McAdams. and there should be nudity.

agreed?

I think ever since I started working at the studio Im more willing to give movies with questionable ideas a chance even if they may end up terrible. I find Im less cynical now

I'd pay 7 bucks to see that.....maybe.

I just found out about this thing when I got to the thread. It looks like crap.

There are none of the original characters...the plotline behind the movie is that The Graduate was based off of these people's lives. I'll probably see it.

The people bashing the movie, have you even seen the trailer? I think it looks great and the plot seems original and refreshing. I can't wait to see it!

I can think of two off the top of my head ;) THE GOOD GIRL and THE OBJECT OF MY AFFECTION.
