1. Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai
2. Mystery Train
3. Night on Earth
4. The Year of the Horse
5. Down by Law

I also have to mention his hysterical cameos in Sling Blade (as the Frostee Creame Boy, who handles Karl ["What kinda food y'all got in there?"] w/ good grace...), and Blue in the Face, (where he does a long bit about how Nazis held their cigarettes.)

Jarmusch is a poet. "Dead Man" & "Ghost Dog" are masterpieces, but I personally think "Stranger Than Paradise" is a real cut above. When you see this film in proper context (preferably at a tea party), it is absolutely glorious. Black & White, Screamin' Jay "puttin' a spell on you", extremely interesting characters, etc, etc. I can't wait to see "The Trumpet". Jim is one of the greats.
