Puck Bond recently hosted the Battle of the Actors to find out the schmoes opinion of the best actor out there. Now, my format is different. Below you'll see a list of actors, 30 in total. You'll pick 10 of your favorites, and place them in order. 1 gets 10 points, 2 gets 9 etc.
Here's the list:
Cary Grant
Humprey Bogart
Jimmy Stewart
Orson Welles
Charlie Chaplin
Edward G. Robinson
Rock Hudson
Fred Astaire
Kirk Douglas
Tony Curtis
Robert Mitchum
Gary Cooper
John Wayne
Eli Wallach
Oliver Hardy
Stan Laurel
Charlton Heston
Charles Bronson
James Dean
Boris Karloff
Bela Lugosi
Clark Gable
Peter Lorre
Jack Lemmon
Anthony Perkins
William Holden
Sir Alec Guinness
Marlon Brando
Steve McQueen
I have not put them in any specific order. If one of your favorites is missing, too bad. You'll just have to choose from these for now.
After this round, if there's enough replies, there will be a second round. The second round will consist of more current actors. A certain number of actors will get through to the next round, where they'll go up against actors from the other round. Hope this is clear enough. If not, doesn't really matter.
What's important for you to understand now, is that you just pick 10 actors and rate them in order. I'll count the votes, and next week the second round will kick off.
Okay, you can go off to the voting now.

and that's all I'd list, really.
I'm quite shocked that James Cagney is not on that list, as he is the greatest actor of them all....

You don't even have Gregory Peck either.

Well, sorry about that. I just put up 30 names that came to my mind first. Spencer Tracy and Burt Lancaster and maybe 30 others could've also been there, but they're not. You could've still followed the instructions and pick ten out of the ones that are there.
