Soo I was just daydreaming today, and before I knew it I had written a Treatment for a little Crow short film. Its like a trailer, but it would be pretty cool to ultiamtely film.

Help me out and give me some pointers so I Can bring this to life! (Remember I wrote this on a damn napkin, its only a start!)

-----------------

CROW: REBORN

-- A happy couple -
--Smiling. Laughing. Flirting.--

Narrator: Two people are dead.

A car flips end over end, riddled with bullets. It explodes, and halts its spin cycle.

Narrator: Now, one of them must return....

The Boyfriend of the happy couple, crawling urgently across broken glass outside the flaming wreckage.

Narrator: To right what was done.

A man steps slowly behind him, raising his shotgun.

Narrator: But this time....

Blam, they blow him away. Shot of the crow, perched on a gravestone.

Narrator: It's gonna be a little different.

Hero shot of the FEMALE crow, in full makeup, arms extended amidst flames. The Crow lands on her shoulder, and she steps through the fire.
------------

Thats all for now!

Tips? Pointers? ( I WOULD like to shoot this eventually)

This could be pretty cool and it is just amazing at how a little idea can expand so maybe you'll get lucky and you can make it.

I love the female Crow idea, but I'd like to hear more about why the couple were killed in the first place. Great start, though.

There's no backstory yet. Actualyl I have no idea why they were killed.

This would only be a short trailer. I dont know if I would want to delve that deep into a 'fanfilm'

Maybe, you can make it a random killing then do a backstory later into it.

Of course it's a pretty short piece of work so I can't really judge it, but it doesn't look too good to me, which is mainly the narrator's fault. When I read what he says, I can't help but think of the voice of that terrible trailer-voice over. You know who I mean, the guy who sounds like he's seven foot tall and has been smoking cigarettes since childhood.

Well that was kind of the idea.

I had anotehr interesting little bit idea. And this is sort of my online journal so Im putting it here. Its an explanation for the makeup.

The girl and her man are hippie 'performance artists' - they do like, mime theater or something. So shes wearing that full-face white makeup.

She looks up, from her bloody boyfriend lyin in the street.

as she does, the tears in her eyes fall - drawing lines of mascara down her face.

I dunno. I thought it was neat - and fit in with the female theme.

I fucking hate that guy. I still don't see why they always want the guy with the second most annoying voice in the universe (Matthew Perry being number one) to be the trailer-narrator. I wonder if he actually lives in a trailer.

Apart from that, your ideas could make for some cool shots, but aren't very original or creative. It's just the whole romantic-goth thing with a touch of badass and coolness. Nothing special anymore.

I was just thinkin the other day, how much butt Asia Argento would kick as a female crow...if they (the high up studio's) ever to do one, it'd damn better be good, and with her.

As for your idea, definatly get it done, id love to see it, looks cool on paper.

Theres something you should know about...we had this discussion on another thread a few months ago. I had posted this info before, this is one concept that should have been considered by Miramax...
