Christopher Lee has been in two incredibly huge movies within five months, and in both he played a villian. In FotR he was Saruman the White, and in AotC he played Count Dooku. My question to you - which movie had the better villian. Did you prefer the old, wise, powerful Wizard in FotR, or did you prefer the old, wise, powerful Jedi in AotC. Now, I know many of you already know which one I prefered, but oh well. I think Saruman had much more of an evil prescense than Dooku. Dooku was elegant, and sophisitcated, but so was Saruman. He also had the better lines in FotR; I loved his "So, ou have chosen death." That is one of my favorite lines, and Lees commanding voice is what makes Saruman so,.........evi voiced, I guess. Anyways, which did you prefer??

Very close buuuuuuuut....I'd prefer Count Dooku. He was great in both but I prefer AotC over FotR so thats all I based my opinion on.

he kicked old, elogant ass in both, but I'd choose Dooku since he beat the future Darth Vader, Obi Wan and ordered the death of a lot of Jedi

Since I'm not a sci-fi/fantasy fan, I have not seen either film, nor do I plan to. However, its nice to see a horror legend (who most people thought was dead) resurrected in two recent blockbusters. Long live Count Dracula! At least the Hammer horror version, anyway.

Saruman. Easily. Much more intimidating. Plus the script in LOTR was much better which heavily influenced my decision.

I liked both, but I'd go with Saruman. The acting and dialogue were both better with Saruman than with Dooku.

Saruman was more intimidating. I know Dooku has skill and is extrememly deadly but you wouldn't know it by looking at him. Saruman just looks evil.

Well put, Antonio. Christopher Lee was just the ultimate Count.

To see him and Yoda fight with lightsabers was a dream come true, but he was a notch cooler in Lord Of The Rings!

his acting showed every one up in episode2 and he was the best one in it.in l.o.t.r. he was on a par with other great actors ,like McKellen and Holm. as for actual characters, sauruman is the most fearsome and allot more evil.

Star Wars is just plain gay. Their fans are in complete denial of this too. They say,"Well, Star Wars is supposed to be retarded, childish and chessy" yet also say that is the greatest, most brillant work ever done on film.
Saruman was much better. I really didnt like the lines he said in AOTC. For example, "so Yoda, I guess we can only prove who is better by using our lightsabers" WINK WINK. there really wasnt anything clever about that movie at all. The Rings put that shitfest to shame period

I liked his perfomance in both movies.
I thought the duel with Yoda was a lot better than the duel with Gandolf
