I'm surprised that nobody made a single thread about this, only seeing a mere mention here and there. I finally decided to listen to this album after all the positive word and I'm mad for not getting this album the moment it came out. Loretta Lynn is one of the rare artists where age makes them better as time goes on. It's really an outstanding album and you will like it, even if you hate country.

One of the best albums of last year. I can always put it on whatever my mood and get something out of it. It's albums like this from artists like Loretta Lynn that make a lie of the commonly held opinion that everyone loses their creative juice as they get older. It also serves of further proof that Jack White's musical heart is in the right place. Favorite song? Possibly Miss Being Mrs. A beautiful song. The highlights are many though and there's a total lack of filler. Magnificent.
