Matt LeBlanc 'ashamed' for groping stripper
Indo-Asian News Service
Los Angeles, Aug 12 (IANS)
Former "Friends" star Matt LeBlanc has apologised to his wife for groping a stripper on a drunken night out.
According to Internet Movie Database, LeBlanc admits he got carried away in a recent visit to a strip club during a 10-day motorbike trip in Canada. LeBlanc was with 10 of his buddies when one girl approached him and asked if they could have some drinks together.
The stripper then supposedly lured LeBlanc into an adjoining room where she sat on his lap. She charged $54 for the dance. Regretting the incident, LeBlanc has this to say: "... If I had been sober perhaps I'd have acted quicker. I realised I was being careless and had to get the hell out of there. I acted like a fool in allowing myself to be led astray and placed in such a horrible situation. I feel ashamed."

Ah I hate how perfect everyone has to be in this industry, so what it's only feeling up a stripper it's not as if he want on a kill-crazy gun rampage or nothing.
people forget that actors are human and who hasn't made mistakes when they're drunk? who hasn't gone to a strip joint for a laugh? Especially when your rich and you can afford it, what's the difference between that and watching Babecast on friendly TV? The world needs to get over its hangups regarding sex it's only a bit of fun. As long as he wasn't raping her or anything and she consented to what he did it's cool by me. In fact I think I respect him more now.
Now I'm off to see a live sex show in amsterdam!!

WOW! is that a "whip" sound I hear!
Relax Matt, so you got a lap dance on a night out with the boys, big freaking deal! Its not like she waxed your rod or swallowed your load or anything (or did she, 5 bucks will get you far in Canuck strip clubs).
What a pussy whipped clown! This coupled with that monkey movie he did a while back = ZERO RESPECT FROM ME! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :)

These are all such "men" answers....a lap dance is a lap dance-- groping is groping-- famous or not, it will piss off your wife.

True. I don't know too many guys who would like to hear about their wife groping a guy at a party. So paying for it would make it okay?
I'm pretty open minded and strip clubs don't really bother me, but you can go to them without touching the merchandise.

"Big trouble" is running over a child, not groping a stripper. What the fuck is she gonna do, divorce him?

I'm not saying it wouldn't/shouldn't piss off his wife, I'm just saying that anything like that is between him and his wife and has nothing to do with me, you and the rest of the world. I wouldn't go to a strip club unless it was with my partner but I'd like to think if I did the only ones talking about it would be me and her not every Tom, Dick and Harry with two cents to chip in.

Yeah, I know what Bob is saying -- This seems like a rue for Matty to get more publicicty.
I thought he'd been arrested for indescent acts or something along those lines -- the story is he went to a strip club and.... okay, that's the end of the story. His wife never said in public she was upset -- nothing happened of the ordeal.
Basically Matt is publiclly apologizing to his wife -- and the story wouldn't even be public had he not made the apology. Or somethign along those lines.
I really don't get what happened or why it's being reported on - other than Matt wanted to remind people he was still around.
This reminds me of when I used to go out and drink myself stupid, then would call people up the next day to make sure I didn't have to apologize for something, and all the guys are like "You were just talkng crazy. We were all pretty drunk" and the ladies are like "We were just dancing and playing around. We were all pretty drunk." Then I'm like "Okay, i feel better about myself now."
So, Matt LeBlanc is the celebrity equivilent of a 21 year old, I guess.
