From Bloody-Disgusting:

The historic and beautiful Music Box Theater in Chicago is hosting a 24 hour horror movie marathon October 15 and 16. The line up is fantastic:

Nosferatu (with live organ accompaniment!)

Pulse (sneak preview)

The Creature from the Black Lagoon (in 3-D!)

Local Chills (shorts by Chicago filmmakers)

Death Line (Director Gary Sherman in person!)

The Crazies (Romero's 1973 classic)

Aftermath (US theatrical premiere of the GROSSEST film ever!)

Scanners (One word. Cronenberg.)

The Return of the Living Dead

Demons (Written by Dario Argento, directed by Lamberto Bava!)

Two Thousand Maniacs

The Howling

Near Dark

HOLY FUCKIN SHIT! Did we hit the jackpot or what?! My head is spinning with excitement; I can't fuckin wait!

That's an AMAZING line-up. I'd kill every grandmother in existence to go to that marathon. Be sure to type up a report, Klownzilla!

The Music Box only keeps sweetening the month by adding GHOSTBUSTERS to its October line-up of classic genre flicks. It'll be showing Oct. 18-22.

And for some strange reason they're having a midnight screening of Degrassi Junior High later this month. I should check that out too.
