Board members have been praising this girl, but nobody has made a thread about her yet, so I thought that I would do the honours.

I listened to The Milk Eyed Mender recently, and I liked it. The only downfall is (surprise, surprise) her voice. At points it's torture on the ears when she hits the high notes. Three Little Babes had to make me take off the my headphones because her voice was hurting my ears. If she just downplays her voice she can make her material really shine.

Any news on her next album?

I'm not sure how much I like her yet. Her music is certainly odd, she reminds me of Kate Bush somewhat, just mad(der) and with a harp but she's clearly a singular talent, think it'll have to grow on me.

Been a fan for years now and I have to say she's quite the charmer.
