i know, wasn't he 80 or something? Yeah, I didn't mind him much though... good luck to his family.

80 and had Thyroid cancer, and he never retired from the bench.

Tough guy.

Yeah, they were saying he was really happy about Roberts coming on board because he used to preside over one of Robert's courts. He wanted to keep working because he knew that'd be cool, and he didn't wanted to keep busy even in his old age.

He was an alright dude.

He had some shitty views when it came to roe v. wade, but really...a very smart guy in many respects. I had a feeling he'd die before stepping down and that's kinda cool. Doubt Bush will replace with someone of his level.
