View Full Version : Patriots cheat, and referees do not care.

Okay, I hate the Raiders so don't jump down my throat saying that i'm a raider fan, last night i got to watch the two teams i hate the most go at it and I have to say I was in shock at how bad the refs were.

Now I was thinking with the ultimate cheat Teddy bear gone that the pats might clean up their act, but they didn't. Hitting players while their on the ground well after they have been tackled, roughing the passer on nearly every pass play, and more then interfering the pass everytime it was passed to moss. The Patriots cheat and that's that. If I were a coach or player in the league I would try to make their cheating defense as public as possible. This better not go on all season.

Before the game I thought the patriots were going to win the game anyways (1 win of the 5 they'll get all year by the way.) They have a mediocre offense that i thought could demolish the horrible raider defense.

Oh yeah, Pats fans: Don't think they have a great offense, they looked horrible against the f*cking Raiders... not something to be proud of.

lol i really admire your anti patriots post here .... I really do.... Its retarded but hey it made me laugh.... Lets get one thing clear before I go any further. You made a claim that the patiots cheat... Ok lets looks back at the past 4 years...3 SUPERBOWL RINGS>.... how in the HELL do you expect they cheat with as many refs as they run into in that amount of time???? NOT POSSIBLE! and dont tell me they they do shit all the time and by with it.... TISK TISK! ITS FOOTBALL BITCHES PEOPLE ARE SUPPOSED TO GET HIT!!!!!! THATS THE NAME OF THE GAME! OHH THEY ROUGH THE QUATERBACK,,.... THEY INTERFERE WITH THE RECIEVERS..... ohh they HIT PLAYERS WHILE ON THE GROUND... lol ITS FOOTBAL DAMNIT! ALSO you claim they have a mediocre offense.... **COUGH COUGH** BULLSHIT! Look who they got on offense.... seriously pull up the patriots roster and tell me who they have on offense that doesnt produce.... and if you were watching the same game as the rest of us then you would notice that the patriots offense didnt loose a fucking step from last year.. or the year before...or the year before... or the year before! ITS the defense that looked a little rusty... so by my eyes lol and it just so happens eyes of many other reporters and NFL analysis the PATRIOTS OFFENSE LOOKED PRETTY DAMN GOOD LAST NIGHt!!! dont hate next time!

"This is not Nam. We have rules."

Hines Ward of the Pittsburgh Steelers bitched about the Patriots secondary last year. He said the referees have two sets of rules, one for the Patriots, and one for the other 31 teams in the NFL.

I watched sporadically in the second half, but in the first half I saw a few late hits, but they seemed more like "feelers". Like the player wanted to get in a small pop after the whistle, but not anything jaw breaking. Almost like little love taps which were sort of like giving out a physical headgame after the whistle.

That stuff happens in every single NFL game, but they simply don't call them unless they're major infractions.

I remember hearing those comments last year and I laughed about it... Im like man this is a guy who bitches about the hits meanwhile deep down inside he's crying like a bitch because his team got beat. Everyone will always say that about the Patriots and you know why? Because the Pats are smart and let people air out their frustrations, because its hard to find any (ANY) NFL to beat them. Their just that good and NO ONE can deny that...

I've been saying that for weeks. I'm still waiting for him to put his money down on the fact that the Patriots won't make the playoffs. I'd be willing to put down any amount of cash the Pats will be in the playoffs this year. Saying anything different just shows a complete lack of football knowledge or an inate psychic ability.

I really hope we don't have to listen to all this anti- Patriot talk all year because it's going to get old in a hurry. Fine, you don't like them, we get it. But do you really have to critque all their wins? They won the game last night, deal with it. It's best that all the Patriot haters get used to dealing with Patriot victories because you're going to be seeing a lot more of them this season.

I think maybe all of us Patriot fans should just save our breath, and agree with all of you jealous haters out there. No Patriot haters reply to this message to say you're not jealous because we all know you are. If you hate a team just because they win championships and your team doesn't, it simply means you're jealous. But again, all you Patriot haters are right. The Patriots suck. They have absolutely no talent nor intelligence in their entire organization. They are one of the worst football teams in the history of the game. Forget about those 3 Super Bowl titles, that's nothing but luck. It must be considering it's usually no talent teams that win titles year in and year out.

Hopefully, none of your teams ever start forming a dynasty because then you too will have to listen to everyone telling you how much your team sucks, and cheats, or whatever other excuse they come up with for that particular week.

You wont for a couple of reasons.

1. One thread is good enough.
2. They won't win much games so there will be no need to.
3. I can't wait to see you patriot fans jump on the next bandwagon... and cry about "what could have been"

ok lets see if I can come up with a solution to your so called "CHEATING WAYS" Lets take the helmets off the players..... ok...... then lets make sure the fans stay quite during the game..... kinda like they do for golf.... then.... no wait it gets better..... we'll strap two flags of opposite colors to their belts and they can play flag football for the rest of the season.... since people complain so much of the hitting.... I think that could put a stop to all the nonsense. But shit.... IM sure you'll find a way to still bitch about this make belive cheating that goes on....

I don't hate the Patriots because I'm jealous. My two favorite teams have never won a championship. I'm not jealous of any dynasty. I'm not jealous of any single season NFL champions, either.

Quit throwing out the jealousy angle because I'm getting sick of it. I hate the fucking Patriots for my own reasons, and bandwagon fans definately crash in on my top five.

No, because you're being constantly disrespectful to anyone who tries to put up a reasonable argument with you.

-Saying a football player deserved to have a stroke.

-Calling people bandwagon fans.

-Saying people posts (which is kind of their opinions) are a "total waste of time."

You've just been the biggest jerk.

Hey guys, just remember that in another post, a moderator already said to play by the rules here, lets not get all bent over a game.

That said, I watched the Pats do what they do best last night. They kept it close, made adjustments, had a great defensive turnover, and won the game. To say the offense is bad is kind of silly, since you have two future Hall Of Famers running it with Brady and Corey. And Tom is only 28 years old.

Fact is, if you think that the Pats are cheaters, then when you watch there games you arent seeing whats really going on...Every hit and every play will just seem wrong to you, when in reality, its not.

My big question after that game is the fact that Sapp said he would retire if the Pats ever beat him.....Think we will see that press conference anytime soon?

Saying someone deserved to almost die because you "think" they play dirty in an NFL football game...and to continue to say he deserved it...is enough to ask for a ban from this website. Karma will come for everyone right?

One NFL player upset with a loss to the this Dynasty and your point of the team being dirty and cheating is right?

Id bet if your team was as good, or had the brains to hire Coach Bill, you sure wouldnt be saying the same thing.

Its going to be a very long season with you around wishing someone died.

3 out of 4 Rings.

A 21 game winning streak in the mix.

22 games without a home loss.

Brady = 9-0 in the post season and never lost an OT game.

ah, whatever, I could go on and on with stats but it wont matter.

Man, thats a lot of cheating and dirty play for only you and one NFL player to think there doing something WRONG.

1. That's terrible if you think he deserved a stroke. Even if he was dirty (which he wasn't) that's still a very fucked up thing to say.

2. I didn't call you jealous, Mack did. And you haven't proved anything you've said, so don't even go there.

3. I would defend my "fanhood" if someone calls me a bandwagon fan for no reason.

4. I didn't call you a jerk to get under your skin, I said that because you really are.

Man, this got ugly quick.
Not a Pats fan, but I do hope Teddy Brewski returns to play for them some day.
Refs favoring the championship teams goes on in ALL sports. Turning a blind eye to fouls or "dirty" manuevers has been going on for years and it won't stop anytime soon.

If I had to count the number of infractions that they should've called on Michael Jordan BUT DIDN'T, I'd be writing this post all day.

I can't stand Jordan for how good he was and the fact that he smacked down my Knicks for so many years.

The Pats, love 'em or want to see 'em thrown under a bus DO HAVE three championships out of the last four seasons and a record that you can't argue with.

But what if they don't make it to the Super Bowl again this year?
What if Tom Brady gets hurt and they end up at the bottom of their division?
None of us can see the future (except those die hard fans that won't hear of such things) and ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.
If everything in life was certain, professional gambling wouldn't exist and Las Vegas would just be an overpriced theme park.

Dynasties aren't easy to come by.
No one is unbeatable.
Chance and fate will flip the script on you every time. That's their jobs.
I tip my helmet to the Pats, but for their sakes, they need to watch their backs. A dynasty can be crushed pretty easily by a team that's hungry enough.

guys, I think Mr. Hokey Pokey's made it obvious, it really doesn't matter how many championships the Pats have won in recent years, it's all because of cheating and an NFL conspiracy which includes corrupt refs. Face it, guys, the Pats suck. :( But it's better this way, now that we've seen the light, no longer believing the lie. Ive got one question for you.... Have you honestly lost your marbels? Have you not been watching the NFL or FOOTBALL for that matter for the past 4 years? You must not have because they won 3 damn superbowls in that time period that you were sleeping under a rock. Look if you belive the refs cheat... ok thats fine. Let you belive your little theory. Ive got a great idea.... You can put that belief right next to the Tooth Fairy, The Easter Bunny, Little Fairies, pixy Dust, etc. etc. etc. Hopefully you can come back to reality and realize that the Patriots have already inked their way into hall of fame history and in to the history books for that matter. The Patriots are a good team. Face it; if they're cheating, then they haven't gotten caught - which leads me to believe that they're not cheating. Don't be so damn bitter. I'm not a Patriots fan, never have been, never will be - I'm Falcons all the way people - but you got take a good look at reality - they've won three Super Bowls in the last four years.

I don't think they're as strong this year as they were the last couple, but they're making the playoffs. You'd have to have a lot of loose cash to bet against that. I think the Colts and the Steelers have what it takes this year to take them out. That's just my unprofessional opinion. :D

I don't think the Patriots had anything to do with that; they were IN Pittsburgh. They got lucky as far as that aspect is concerned - but that doesn't mean the game would have ended differently. Pittsburgh might not have scored (with a minute left) or would have left the same amount of time. We'll never know.

Listen, the Pats were in Pitt. and if you honestly think that the pats had something to do with that, considering that they play football on the field and not up in the booth, shows that you have absolutly no clue on what your talking about. and You want Tom Brady to join Bruschi huh? well think about this Bruschi will be playing next season as will Brady and Brady in not only my eyes and everyone (well close to everyone) else's Brady is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL! HokeyPokey, the clock incident proves nothing. Not only was the game in Pittsburg, but NO ONE noticed it on the Pittsburg side. They said that after the game. Perhaps they were lying and they did notice but thought that time might help them later. Regardless, no one complained when the extra time was put on. So you're argument that this proves anything holds zero water.

Also, you're comments about Teddy Bear and Brady are sick. Would you say that if Bruschi's son was on these boards? Regardless of what you think, he's a man making a living who has serious health issues, and you are wishing worse on him and wishing a nother player would expeience the same thing. Now that you've been called out please don't play "oh I was just kidding" because you've said it so many times that doesn't float.

Then again, maybe you would tell Bruschi's son to his face that you hope his Dad doesn't get better since "he got what was coming to him." From what you've posted already, that wouldn't seem to be below you.

*yawn* It gets old.

The Colts are the best team in football, bar absolutely none. The Patriots are very beat up this year so they're struggling a little. But Hokey, do the math. If the playoffs started today, you might be AMAZED to see the Patriots would be in it. The AFC East is horrible this year so I'm fairly certain the Pats will be winning that division before more than likely getting knocked out of the playoffs in the second round, and if I had to guess, quite possibly against the eventual Super Bowl Champion Colts.

When it comes to football, you're always right, huh? Hmmm, I find it amusing that in the process of patting yourself on the back, you fail to mention the part of your prediction that had the Patriots winning only 5 games this year. I guess you just conveniently decided to leave that part out. Let me know how it goes when the Patriots get to win number 6 in two weeks. That's right. Two straight wins are coming up for the Pats, which will make them 6 -4. and in total control of the AFC East.

I guess you just conveniently decided to leave that part out. Let me know how it goes when the Patriots get to win number 6 in two weeks. That's right. Two straight wins are coming up for the Pats, which will make them 6 -4. and in total control of the AFC East.

They're only 4-4. They haven't went over the 5 win mark yet buddy.

How 'bout them Falcons? :D

Anyway, the Patriots got whipped yesterday by the best team in football. I think the Patriots will make the playoffs because they will win their division (I don't think they'll have too many problems with the Dolphins or Jets). Let's not forget, they still have Tom Brady, who probably was the only one who looked good against the Colts. But I don't think they'll go far in the playoffs - too many injuries.

Ive never been one to use the injury card but I have to admit, they have been nailed with injuries to every key player on that team not named Brady.

Plus hearing Troy Brown today...it sounds as if some of the hunger is gone...time for some new blood...this is what happened after they won the first one.

Don't worry, you'll learn that i'm always right when it comes to football.

Eh, It's good to see New England losing, but they are staying on top of the playoff race because they are still the better team in the AFC East.

The only real legit challenge to them was Buffalo, and they showed them up on prime time.

Looks like they'll be playing in the first round.

As for injuries, Jesus. I thought it didn't matter how many injuries the Patriots had?

Lets face.... the pats will be in the playoffs....now whether they go far is a different story. And it doesnt generally matter about injuries but when your fucking Starting Offense and Defense loose more players than any other team in the NFL.... come on. They lost every key play to that team. Their defense they lost way to many players...way to many.. Look at their injury report and then come back and tell me that they reason they are loosing so many games is not because of injuries..

Injuries are the only real reason that most good teams don't make it to the playoffs.

I agree with you, their injuries have been substantial. My comment was to the fans who all last year said "It doesn't matter how many injuries, who starts for who, or who plays, these coaches are so good that they will win." (paraphrase)

That's ALL I was force-fed last year on television, about how through the injuries they found scrubs off the street to play in the defense and still won the superbowl and all of those playoff games because of 'great coaching'.

Now that they're losing because of injuries, it's a different story. Now we all have to sit back and say "Yeah those damn injuries killed the pats."(paraphrase)

What a two-sided mirror.

7 hurt starters on offense

6 hurt starters on defense

Thats just too much to handle....far ANY team.

Thankfully they are in a very bad division.

Yup, theyll be in the playoffs.I think they'll finish with a record of 10 wins, and 6 losses. I don't think they'll go very far in the playoffs though...

...but ya never know, this team does incredible shit.

Unless there is some type of major recovery, this season will be a sucsess if the win one playoff game in my eyes. Too many guys out for the year.

Three in a row wont happen but 4 out of 6 sounds good....they need to regroup.

I hear what you are saying...Fact is, like any team, The Pats have lost guys and have had no names come in and yet they kept winning...only problem is now...is that they have so many people hurt that they are f'ed...no matter how good the coaching is.

Two extremes, Ill give that to you. The truth is somewhere in the middle.

Don't say that! I mean, I doubt that they'll win this year, but remember, they ARE the Patriots! We had too many injuries last year when the Pats were "ripe for the picking.". Sheyah! We knocked the Colts outta the playoffs 20-3!

We still got Belichick and Brady. Right there says they have a chance.

A Threepeat would kick so many kinds of ass.

The Colts will choke anyways, they might have perfect regular season, but they're not gonna win the superbowl.

I don't think New England will even make it that far.

Denver might be the only AFC team with a chance to stop them but I don't see it nor do I see any team that could possibly beat Indy.

This team is different than last year and it'a a lot better defensively.

I just watched the pats play their last 2 games against Tampa and Buffalo. I know buffalo sucks but shutting out Tampa? Looks like the pats are starting to look like old. Watch Out. Plus an Indy loss may put stree on their team going into the playoffs....

Hokey, how much did we bet on the Pats not making the Superbowl again?

You talked a lot of shit in the beginning of the season, and that's fine. But, now that the Pats have won twice as many games as you predicted, don't you think it's about time you at least admitted you were wrong? I mean, you did say about 6 weeks ago that when it comes to football, you're ALWAYS right. Well, there goes your undefeated streak then.

Tell me Hokey, who you picking for the Super Bowl this year? If this year was any indication of your accuracy in picking games, I just want to know who I should avoid when placing my bets. :D ;)

Let me just bring up this, how is it that you can mention the Pats cheating, but not mentioning Roy Williams or the Cowboys on the whole, who get away with nearly every single thing, as I have realized over the course of this year.

Oh, and I do still think the Pats will make the Superbowl, despite their beat up secondary.

How coulbe he "always be right about football." if he says the Patriots suck? That's incorrect.

The only reason he hates them is because they keep winning. If they didn't win the superbowl every year, they could be 70's Raiders dirty and he wouldn't whine about it.

Yeah I can admit I was wrong about how many games they would win, but I'm still COMPLETELY RIGHT about them not making the superbowl. Look for them to loose against the broncos this weekend.
