I have just got this flim and watched the DIRECTORS CUT & U.S. THEATRICAL VERSION!!! 1word WOW!!! what a great fucking movie done by Ridley Scott. Every thing is done beautifull and OMG every thing about this movie is just great!! Now Tim Currey as Lord of Darkness is by far his best role i have seen him in. He scares the shit out of me. i now consider that being as the real devil in the flesh I mean For me this is the definitive Satan every time i imagen satan this satan comes to mind. i am just speachless!!!

yeah this is a great movie and dvd set, i actually consider dave grohl in the tenacious d tribute video as the defenitive satan or maybe satan on south park, those are really good too JK!

The Directors cut of Legend turned a mediocre movie into something worth owning for me. It improved on things about as much as the Daredevils directors cut, or Aliens 3....which is TONS.:D

In the DIRECTORS CUT of the film you don't see hell or lord darkness sitting is his chair while his eyes and nails glow in the dark all you see is blix telling lord darkness hes heart is pitch black and that is in the U.S. VERSION. WHY???

I saw this film a long time ago. Personally, I'd group it with Willow, since neither film did much for me. From the looks of things, it's a fantastic DVD, though.

Gotta say I was disappointed in the movie seeing it in the theatres and I could not bring myself to watch on video or cable. I do love fantasy movies though and after these review might just pick it up for the collection.

Definitely worth picking up. Scott's commentary is the icing on the under-12-dollar-two-disc-special-edition cake.
