When people see a movie and hear a song they like in the movie people get excited about it and then get into the movie. I love all kinds of Rock. That's why I really enjoyed School Of Rock because it had many of my favorite tunes in the movie.

Led Zeppelin
AC/DC
Jimi Hendrix
Deep Purple
Black Sabbath
The Who

So want I want you guys to do is tell me which song(s) would you like to see in a movie and in what kind of scene or kind of movie.

This can be any kind of music.

-Ennio Morricone - Ecstacy of Gold (Good bad and the ugly)
-Instrumental of Hey Jude and Nico's These Days in the Royal Tenenbaums

Not a good movie, but when the song comes on as the movie ends I was caught totally off gaurd. I must have watched the ending a dozen times before I returned it to the video store. One of the greatest endings I've ever seen to a bad movie.

My favorite uses of songs in movies:

The Who ~ A Quick One While She's Away
-- "Rushmore"

Aerosmith ~ Sweet Emotion
-- "Dazed and Confused"

Night Ranger ~ Sister Christian
-- "Boogie Nights

The Rolling Stones ~ Monkey Man
-- "Goodfellas

Average White Band ~ Pick Up The Pieces

As for the kinda song I'd like to be in a movie,

Radiohead's "Bulletproof... I Wish I Was" needs to be used in a cross-country road trip scene.

Figure .9 in SWAT because Linkin Park is my favorite band and I haven't heard a song of theirs in a movie until that one. If there are any other movies that feature a song about Linkin Park that are actually in the movie let me know.

Bad Medicine, by Bon Jovi in Jay and Silent Bob strike back, that is my favorite music in any movie, for some reaosn - and it fits soo perfectly for the scene, aside from Tarantino's fantastic scores (that motherfucker can pick music for anything and it fits), this is the best music to movie bit I can think of....Jay goes on a tirade about how nothing, and I mean nothing is gonna stand in their way, then she walks through the door and the music starts - insert Jay's pseudo wet-daydream, and Bad Medicine - and you have THE best music for a scene ever....the top it off with a Run DMC song to introduce her friends, followed by Jay's proclamation of " dude, I think I just filled the cup" and you have my personal favorite.

I recently saw Transporter 2 and in one of the scenes it played the song Cells by The Servant. That was the same song that was in both Sin City Trailers. That song kicks ass and it was fine for the scene in the movie but it reminded me of Sin City.
