We've just received early details on the Bad News Bears remake starring Billy Bob Thornton. Arriving on December 13th from Paramount Home Entertainment, the comedy will be available in separate anamorphic widescreen and fullscreen editions, each featuring Dolby Digital 5.1 tracks. Extras will include an audio commentary track with director Richard Linklater, deleted scenes, outtakes, behind-the-scenes featurettes, video baseball cards of the players and trailers. Retail will be $29.99.


i loved this flick... one of the few people who saw it, thought it was funny as shit, no clue why it tanked the way it did... cant wait to pick it up!

While it had some funny bits (the "pumpkin patch" line was Coke-through-the-nose goodness), it felt like a stale retread of the much better, much more charming original.

Richard Linklater should not do anymore films with a bunch of kids. He should make a followup to Waking Life.

he has A Scanner Darkly coming out next year, which is the same type of animation as Waking Life (unless im mistaken) but its got Keanu Reeves, Robert Downy Jr, Winonna Ryder and some otehrs and its based of a Phillip K Dick story. It looks fuckin awesome!

Ah, yes, I forgot about that one. It's a pity it couldn't be released this year.
