Sky High on November 29th

My expectations for this were low to crap, but it turned out to be a real winner, and the nicest surprise of the summer. Sure, it may not be original (as many of the films this summer weren't), but it had charm and it felt fully invested in the world it was creating.

I'm definitely going to pick it up when it comes out.

Buena Vista's live action superhero film Sky High, starring the always great Kurt Russell and the lovely Kelly Preston, is tentatively slated for release on November 29th. Available in separate 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen and fullscreen pan & scan editions, early word on extras is an alternate opening, multiple featurettes, including one on the "sensational" stunts, and super bloopers. Retail will be $29.99.

Great surprise movie and one of the funnest ive seen all year. Solid 8/10 from me.
