As for my most hated bands, no specifics, but I just generally hate rap. There are exactly two rap songs I've heard and liked, both by Outkast, and there are several rap bands that I have some respect for as music that just doesn't appeal to me, but the thing that gets bucketloads more rap-hating from me is the image, which in most cases I find completely annoying.

No, I can't think of a band worse than either. Simply put, they fucking infuriate me. At least Take That, N Sync et al know what they are...McCartney trundles on unawares, releasing the same hokey ol' shite every year and desperately clinging on to the crest of that Beatles wave. As for The Lighthouse Family, Simply Red and the rest...it's droll MOR for people who frequent coffee shops and buy one movie a year....namely Bridget Jones' Diary.

I think these are the WORST musicians of any kind - deluded, tuneless hams everybody and their mother seems to love. Give me a disposable pop band any day of the week, they create obvious tunes for the masses and generally make no bones about it!

And if they claim otherwise...well, providing they have a face as irritating as fucking Macca or shitting Knopfler they might just make my next list!

I listen to metal and hard rock. Of which 80s and 70s is my favorite. My three favorite bands are AC/DC, Def Leppard, and Megadeth who were all mentioned here, which made me mad. That is why I said the Beatles suck, I was very irritated seeing that not only my favorite genres but specificly my favorite bands were all mentioned. I'm woulf like to restate what I said and say that I think the Beatles suck and that Led Zepplin and Black Sabbath (while good) are overrated. As this thread was called "The 10 WORST bands of all time", which would mean not what you think, but what ARE the worst bands of all time. So I felt the need to defend my favorite bands. I listen to Sabbath a lot (don't really know how anyone can say Def Leppard are better) and you should calm down a lot. It's just a fucking message board. And I listen to mostly Metal. Thrash, Sludge Metal, Death Metal, Doom Metal, and Progressive Metal mostly. Rap is my second genre of choose. Then, Alternative. I really can't get into the 70's/80's mainstream hard rock shit at all. Aerosmith, AC/DC, Kiss, Hair-Bands and the sort. Van Halen with DLR and Rush are about it for me.

They wrote some good tunes, Jesus Christ...they've been elevated to such a ridiculous status since John's untimely death that we're not even allowed to mention another band or artist in the same breath for fear of upsetting the legions of fans. It's INSANE.

I don't actually dislike The Beatles any more...I accept that they were a talented bunch of lads - thieving Scousers all the same - and they obviously did something right since they still litter every music poll decades on.

However, I REFUSE to accept that solo McCartney is a credible artiste...IMO he's a fucking joke, and Wings were horrible, absolutely horrible.
