Good call on Dire Straits and The Police, m'man. They continually get blasted on these here threads... undeservedly so.

That sure is a lot of U2 (not that I'm complaining, I like U2)... and an awful lot of Van Halen (who I don't like, but we've already talked about our taste differences...). There are lots of key 80's movements you're missing, IMO, but I think I've got a good idea of your tastes, and you've got most of the stuff you'd like covered. You might like Stevie Ray Vaughan, though, try him out sometime.
