I would like to step up my imported movie collection and i am looking for a good region free dvd player can someone reccomend one and also a site where i could buy it. Alot of sites suggested one that the region can be manually changed on it so thats what i am really looking for

what's your location? www.dvd.reviewer.co.uk has a lot of hacks for players but mostly uk. In the UK the best thing to do is look around supermarkets for what is cheap and then check the net for a hack by typing the product code and hack in google or checking the above site. it's worth noting if you are in the U.S. that your telly will only play NTSC signals whilst a UK telly will play both NTSC and PAL

yeah i have noticed that some of the dvd players i have been looking at have PAL NTSC converters, and i am in the us and some of the dvd's i have been looking at are PAL so i am wondering if these converters actually work
