Warner has announced the fifth season of Gilmore Girls which stars Liza Weil, Lauren Graham, Kelly Bishop, Sean Gunn and Alexis Bledel. The six-disc set will be available to own from the 13th December this year, and should retail at around $59.98. Each of the fifth season episodes will be presented in 1.33:1 full frame, along with English 2.0 Surround tracks. Extras will include audio commentary by Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino on the Wedding Bell Blues episode, a Gilmore Girls Turn 100 documentary that looks at the making of the 100th episode, a Behind the Scenes of the 100th episode featurette, a Who Wants To Talk Gilmore season five montage, a theatrical trailer, and eastereggs.

I like the artwork a lot, it's really cute. Probably one of the best artworks of any of the show seasons. I don't really like the fact that it's pink though, oh well :p I'll definetely be buying it. I own season four and I'll be getting one through three sometime around Christmas. I've seen the first three and I'll be watching season four this week. I'm also watching season six on WB. I can't wait to get my hands on this, it's one of the best shows of all time and it really deserves some Emmy noms and wins :(
