Aside from not meeting their recruiting goals cause young folks have wisened up to Bush's unjust war... one has to laugh at the idiotic marketing manuevers the Army comes up with.... stuff like this cant help their already difficult cause any.... in fact, it must make young folks laugh out loud at IT.

Funny how you told me that bad recruiting was just an officer and not the army in general, yet the national guard's website does this. Just a bad officer then, right?

I never posted anything that shows, nor have I said America sucks.

I have posted items that are IN THE NEWS which shows how much this current administration and President suck.

Its too bad that a few here and many in the country think that speaking out against their govt and president equates one with being anti american. This is simply not true..no matter how many times Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity say it is.

I would also invite those who think so to step up and instead of soley commenting on posts they think are anti american, to begin supplying their own stories from news souces which they feel show a legitimate opposing view so we can have interesting debates on the matter

Wrong. I said "shady recruiting tactics". There is nothing shady about this promo. There is no decieving here. Join and get free I-tunes. The army has done tons upon tons of far out, idiotic recruitment ploys. Alot of them don't work. Alot of them are crazier than this one. Why is this article shocking?

Are you kidding me right now? I'd say atleast 70% of the people who post on this board hate Bush. Personally I don't think he is much of a president at all, even though Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh think the world of him.

Most of us do not post three topics a day. 90% of the articles you posted could have been under the thread title "Problems in Iraq" or something to that effect. Most of them don't require their personal thread IMO. Which is why some of them only get maybe one or two replies.

I don't mind if similar threads get posted cause sometimes something interesting can lost in one of the bigger threads. And a lot of times what the thread ends up being is something much different than what the title would suggest.
I say, let the posts that are redundant simply drift away to the bottom or grab our attention and stay afloat- it is like big business where we let the market decide, LOL!

Well from what the site says you don't have to "join" to get the free downloads. All you have to do is fill out the form, get a bunch of crap in the mail, and tell the recruiter off when he calls your house.
