In a nutshell, any unmarried woman in the state of Indiana who wants to get pregnant by something other than sex will have to ask for a 'petition for parentage' in their local probate court. And yes, if a woman does it without the court's approval she will be arrested.
Just....why?

They must be talking about artificial insemination. I can't say I'm against this but it will never work- people can always inseminate themselves- who would know?
I guess I'm just a beleiver in mothers and fathers and not single parenthood unless it is unavoidable.

All I can say is I'm glad it's been dropped. What a stupid waste of time for the government to be dealing with. Sheesh!
