We Need to Make a Horror Screenwriting FAQ

I just think, some people will never go to screenwriting boards, and would just rather go here.

So I think, that us horror schmoes should make a Screenwriting FAQ of our own, similar to the other forum, chalk full of cursing and porn jokes.

Ya know, copying and pasting from the Filmmaking forum may not be such a bad idea here.

But yes, it would be nice for those who don't want to stray far from their screenwriting roots. Plus, there are a lot of things to horror screenwriting that doesn't usually apply to "normal" movies in heaping quantities ie. how to build suspense, developing a good STORY amid blood and carnage and whatnot, that sort of thing.

Horror IS exceptionally hard to compose and it's much harder to prevent it from taking a 'sell out' direction. It is a test of imagination, not to mention constructive thinking and common sense.
