Doom, number one. Too predictable, too boring.

For some reason, I'm glad to see AHOV still hanging in the top ten.

North Country didn't do as well as most prognosticators estimated. Maybe people weren't interested in nabbing the Oscar bait?

Dreamer will do about what was expected of it...I hope word of mouth catches on and makes this a small winner. It couldn't have been that much to make.

Stay didn't even make the top ten. Collect your paltry sum and go straight to video.

Apparently Doom cost $70-$80 million to make, not counting P&A. It looked like it cost about half that. A $16-$18 million opening is OK, but not good. It's going to drop hard and fast. Not a good hold for Elizabethtown. I, too, expected North Country to do a lot better. Probably failed to appeal to mainstream audiences.

Eek, Doom's only gonna have a weekend of about $20 million, max. I bet the execs at Universal are wishing they would have had this released in the Summer like it was supposed to.
