View Full Version : Jimmy Fallon must die.

This untalented fuck is getting wayyyyy too fucking much attention. His whole idea of being funny is that of acting like a retard. He goes around bobbing his head and spouting stupid ass catch phrases. I cannot belive that Lorne Micheals, who discovered Chris Farley, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, David Spade, and Phil Hartman, discovered him. It makes me feel ashamed of watching all the old episodes because I eventually that a episode with Jimmy Fallon is going to pop up and I am going to roll my eyes.
Ok, His movies are pieces of shit. Taxi? Fever Pitch? ARGGGH. Those movies should have never been greenlighted and never seen by anybody. I was glad that they did bad and just went away forever. They were the most contrived and unfunny movies I have ever seen and I was sickened that I actually watched them. Jimmy fuckin' Fallon is going to be around alot longer because, face it, the state of the box office proves it, that Hollywood is making any film and making any shitty actor a leading man. I thought that Hollywood would stoop to a low level but a new low would to make Jimmy Fallon a lead star of a movie when there are better actors for it.
in the first paragraph, I mentioned that he was unfunny and that his routine consisted of acting like a retard. I have a problem with that . if your routine just consists of that and only that, then you are unfunny as hell. His routine also consists of him spouting stupid ass catch phrases that you see a mile coming and also, slapstick that you can roll your eyes at how it is poorly executed.
Hollywood must be on crack to think that he is funny. I seriously doubt it because all of California is on drugs. Maybe, we should just market him to the stoners because those people laugh at anything.

Hey man, don't bring chronic drug users down to the level of a Jimmy Fallon fan.
I am both shocked, and offended!

Yeah, I think thedudeman got picked on by some drug kids for not liking Jimmy Fallon, or something.
There's like two rants going on there.

Yes. Dear God yes. He must die now for the sake of humanity.
I agree completely.
When I saw that POS Taxi, the only thing that made the film more excruciatingly awful than it already was was the hideously unfunny Jimmy Fallon.
He sucks.

What I was saying was that sometimes I think that Hollywood is on drugs by the comdies that they churn out. I wasn't calling everybody that lived there on drugs. :D

Hollywood isn't on drugs.
They make multi picture deals with people like Jimmy Fallon and when the movies tank, people like Jimmy Fallon disappear (or end up on Comedy Central or something).
I may be in the minority here, but I liked on SNL when he did sketches with Horation Sanz...HOWEVER
I paid to see TAXI
I avoided FEVER PITCH.
I want my money back for TAXI and if I ever meet Jimmy Fallon, I may give him the ticket receipt so he can credit me the $18 dollars.
Die? No, I think there are others that should share that fate.
If you wound him in a vital area so that he only speaks when you tell him to, that might work.
I have nothing but respect for Fallon. Here's why:
With little talent he has made himself successful. He has made a ton of money. He will make a ton more. TAXI was horrible, FEVER PITCH was passable, and both made enough money to guarantee we haven't seen the last of Fallon as a movie star. I think all the outrage people have for him is jealosy. With little to no talent, he's out making millions and making movies, while we talk about him on internet message boards.
And I did find him a whole lot funnier on SNL then Chris Farley. All Fallon does is act dumb or high, but that's Oscar-worthy compared to Farley schtick, which consisted of saying all his lines really really loudly and being really really fat. RIP, for sure, but Spade was the only reason to watch TOMMY BOY or BLACK SHEEP.

Spade was the only reason to watch TOMMY BOY or BLACK SHEEP.
Yeah, But Farley had moments of comedic brillance in that. The only form of humor that David Spade has is being saracastic.

Did I just hear someone talk shit about Chris Farley? I hope not, for your sake. Otherwise, Big Daddy's gonna have to regulate! *kisses biceps* :D And please don't make fun of stoners. We're just people, like you. Thank you for your time and cooperation.
Peace...
PS. Farley was a genius.

How the little weiner got on SNL is just puzzling. The worst "comedic" "actor" working today.

Here is something that will shock everyone: Jimmy Fallon has twice the talent of Chris Farley! There I said it. And I mean it too! :p
Tommy Boy is Farley's only good movie and it might not have been without the help of David Spade (I'm not saying he's great, it's just these two are at their best when they worked together).
Fallon was very likeable in Fever Pitch and gave a very effective straight turn in Almost Famous. Plus, I always enjoyed him and Tina Fey together for Weekend Update when he was on SNL.

Comparing Chris Farley and Jimmy Fallon is like apples and grapefruits.
Comedy is subjective. What makes one person laugh might not make another person even crack a smile.
Did you find The Adventures of Ford Fairlane funny? I did.
How about Dodgeball? I thought it was funny too.
Anchorman? I thought it was hilarious.
Every Jim Carrey movie I've seen (except the drama roles) I thought were hilarious, but not everyone may share the same opinion.
Chris Farley, for his limited time here tried to make people laugh with a slapstick / John Belushi style of comedy.
Jimmy Fallon is trying very hard to break away from SNL, like so many others have (Rock, Sandler, Myers) and do his own thing. As of yet, personally, I haven't seen it. But he's got time to grow.
You can't compare two different kinds of comedians. In their own ways, they both made us laugh.

If the basis of this rant is killing no-talent comedians like Jimmy Fallon could we start first with Carlos Mencia and work our way up the food chain?

let me first start by saying, farley looked up to belushi like a god...because he is...john belushi is a legend, a legend that farley could not live up to, and not many could...
farley was a genious on snl though...the only movie i love of his is tommy boy, they were all always so formulaic...but his snl performances were brilliant...chippendales dancer tryout, zaggots, superfans, lunch lady land, matt foley, the list goes on...anyone who says farley was weak on snl is an idiot...along with that guy who said spade is the only reason to watch tommy boy
fallon isn't in the same league as farley...but he is similar to farley in this snl/movie comparison...fallon was good on snl, not as good as farley, but still good...i'll admit that once ferrell and tracy morgan left the show tanked, but before that, fallon was great on snl (when he wasn't laughing in the middle of sketches)...but his movies suck...fallon's ego got so big while on snl that i'm glad he sucks now...until he loses that ego and goes back to his old ways, he will remain unfunny

mr. durp (duuurrpp, sorry) you really know what you're talking about there, but how many SNL cast members came back to snl after leaving, which is the only place i could ever accept fallon

Say what you want about Jimmy Fallon, but the SNL skit he did a couple years ago with Ben Affleck where they were radio DJ's and they kept changing voices and accents back an forth at rapid fire proves to me just how good of an actor he can be.
And I personally loved 'Fever Pitch'. I thought he was great. The part where he is in the hallway trying to talk to Drew, and she goes back inside the apartment, and he is on the verge of tears, he had me. I felt totally sorry for him. And if an actor can get you to care about him/her that much, then they definitely went above and beyond at doing their job.
I like the guy. Check that, I love the guy. I miss him on SNL (especially Weekend Update, he and Tina kicked all sorts of ass together), and will continue to watch the movies he stars in.

I hate Fallon, and think he is an overrated piece of trash.
His SNL career was shit. I don't think that looking into the camera and laughing every five minutes when you fuck up your lines is funny.
I skipped Taxi. I skipped Fever Pitch. If someone plays that piece of shit in my house, I will get up and walk away from the TV.
