The subject line says it all. Personally i'd love to see Blade Of The Immortal as an anime. I've always been under the impression that Blade was one of the more popular Manga and having read the first four volumes I can see why. Visually it's absolutely stunning and the narrative just pulls you in. I've also read that it just keeps getting better as the story progresses and the body count increases. Anyone know if there's ever been any plans to adapt this into an Anime? Perhaps it would cost too much to buy the rights? Or perhaps the creators don't like Anime and are being precious about their creation. Anyone?

Also...a more faithful adaptation of Uzumaki would be a very fine thing to see. The live action movie was excellent but it only covered a very small portion of the events that transpire in the three volume manga. One of the best comics i've ever read.

Yotsubato! a manga by the same author of Azumanga Daioh. Pretty funny manga, Yotsuba is adorable.

Hoi Hoi San. Well, it did have an anime, but its just a 10 minutes long Ova that came as gift with an special edition of the manga.

Also it will be good if they animate the rest of the mangas of Gantz and School Rumble.

Psychocandy you got it right about blade of immortal....
it has been around since its first release in 1983 i think...
and it has not ended yet....
but it is coming out pretty slow now....
Yotsubato! is simply cute... i would love to see that in anime too....
what i heard is that the folks in japan are coming out with a drama series based on that....
which i really drag to think how it would turn out.... imagine yotsubato with her cute big eyes in real life...
i just don't know....
one manga i would love to see as an anime is "death note"....
and peacemaker 2.....

Death Note. I don't read much manga, and this isn't an exception. But the plot is interesting enough to make me wish I could see it as an anime.

Also agree. I've reading Blade of the immortal for almost three years and i still wonder why they haven't done an anime series.

666 Satan (or 'O-Part Hunters' as the politically corrected name shall be once it's released in the states) might be cool.. a more graphic manga from the younger brother of the Naruto creator.

I'd also like to see second seasons of Berserk, Tenjou Tenge and Genshiken.

Genshiken's rumoured for a second bout.. but it could just be promotion for the Kujiki Unbalance spin-off. I really hope it's a second season though..

Also -- years ago there were these crazy anime-styled American comics from some small production house I'm not even sure if still exists..

'Dark Minds' I think was one of them -- this futuristic Cyber Punk Ghost in the Shell type outing. Then they had a midieval sort of Loddoss comic.. and a more Japanese set similar one as well.

Really good art -- lots of gore and suggested adult material.

It was great when I was a teen.. I'd like to see those get a moving cel version but I'm almost sure that will never happen.

I've almost forgotten about them even now..

Unfortunately, they decided to make a second season of Kujibiki Unbalance instead of the rumored second season of Genshiken. :(
