Haha.. A PG movie beat 50 Cent. Although I was hoping Zathura would top Chicken Little as it is much better and I can't see why people are still flocking to see one of the worst movies of the year... Oh, well...

thats a pretty big drop for jarhead damn almost 60% well i still havent seen it but im going tomorrow at 2:15

and once again is derailed performing above expectations or what?!

I was thinking Derailed would make 7 or 8 million at most for the weekend. That's a surprising number. It could drop by today, though.

Chicken Run held up really well because yesterday was Veteran's Day, and a lot of kids had the day off.

Wow for Derailed and Pride (1 million from 200 theaters??...WOWWW)

I thought Jarhead would go up because it was veterans day....You know...war movie on veterans day...

I was fascinated by Jarhead, but I heard people being disappointed because there weren't any shoot 'em up battles in it. They didn't really it was the examination of the mindset of a marine. They had to think, and they didn't like that.

They wanted "rah rah" jingoistic stuff.

Good performance from Pride and Prejudice, and i'm so glad Derailed did well over Get Rich or Die Tryin'.
