Yeah, this is sad news. I used to love Eddie back when I watched the WWF/WWE. I saw him at the Royal Rumble and Backlash back in 2003.

Rest In Peace Eddie.

Eddie was pretty cool, it's too bad he was a drug addict. I bet my life savings he died from an overdose.

He quit doing drugs 4 years ago, and just celebrated that fact. There is absolutely no way he died of an OD, because he was brushing his teeth at the time he passed out.

Yeah, but his heart was probably damaged from the drugs he took years before.

Drugs are bad shit.

drugs did play a role in weaking his heart but so did wrestling. He was sober for 4 years and he was a better man for it. He will be missed but never forgotten.

From what I saw on WWE.com, the damage of drugs and alcohol and overexerting himself was what cause him to have a massive heart attack. These guys work ALL OF THE TIME and don't really get any rest if they're popular, like Eddie was.

One of the saddest moments I've ever experienced is waking up to find out this man had died.

Peace be with him.
