Thanks for your input! They're not really in any kind of exact order. Except maybe my top 10. I tried to list them in order but it was just TOO impossible.

That is one hell of a good list! Lots of ones I'd choose in there...

I haven't seen 'Donnie Darko' as of yet, in fact here in Australia I don't think it's been released at any cinema - care to explain what it's about?

I highly, highly, highly (did I mention highly?) recommend seeing Donnie Darko as soon as humanly possible.

It's basically about a boy who escapes death by a slim margin, and the repercussions of him dodging his fate. It has the dry humor of "American Beauty", a phenomenal cast, and is one of the best indie movies ever made. It is very humorous but very morose all at once. Also has some sci-fi elements to it.

I think the less you know about it going in, the better. Don't read any reviews on it or they might give crucial plotlines away.

Hope this helps!

I particularly like this list!

Whilst I do not agree with all of the choices(Why should I? its your favourites!), I actually think its one of the best about!

It's individual, eclectic and has some real corker's in there!

Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Trainspotting and Dead Man Walking are personal favourites of mine also...in fact, I have a great number of your choices amongst my top 100!

Why thank you!

We also share a common hatred for Eyes Wide Shut.

I will go check out your list!

Nice to know that other sane individuals despise that pile of shite...

You've restored my faith..I had almost resigned myself to being totally alone in my opinion!

Nice one...

Since there are half a dozen threads with a similar topic (TOP 100 MOVIES) in this forum at the same time, we've decided to close them all in the hopes of letting other list topics through. We've also created ONE BIG THREAD for everyone to add their TOP 100 lists respectively. Thanks for understanding, thanks for not taking this personally and now feel free to cut & paste your TOP 100 MOVIE LIST into this new thread: http://www.joblo.com/ubb/Forum7/HTML/003254.html
