chronicles of ridduck 2?

Anybody know or here the latest info if they're going to make a second chronicles of ridduck movie? I heard they wanted to but the first one might not have made enought money.

From what I've heard from Vin Diesel and David Twohy and camp is that the movie simply just didn't make enough money for Universal to greenlight a sequel. They'd love to do it, but they don't want to just do a straight-to-video half-assed attempt. They were holding out that it would make a lot more on DVD, but I don't think the numbers were anywhere near as good as Pitch Black's... I for one would love to see the next two chapters that were supposed to follow (I mean, fuck, look at the end of this one and you have to wonder "what in god's name could be next?") but I understand if they don't want to do it until they can do it right. Doesn't mean I'll be happy about having to wait, but if it makes the final product better, I'll wait as long as need be.

i really hope they get round to making another Riddick film, i loved Pitch Black and really liked Chronicles too, especially with the ending that opens so many possibilities

Chronicals was a decent movie and I wouldnt mind seeing another one.

I'm up for a second Chronicles as well, the ending was great to the last one and opened up so many possibilities as others have said. Also, Vin Diesel's Riddick is probably the only role I find him good in, so Riddick films are more than welcome by me.
