Any x-mas horror? I can think of a couple.
Silent Night Deadly Night
Black Christmas
Gremlins
Others?

Santa's Slay
It's X-Mas horror! It may be the worst movie in the history of cinema, but it's X-Mas horror!

I have never seen it, but "Dont open until Christmas" is one of those 80's Halloween/Friday ripoffs.

I just saw a screener of Santa's Slay and found it to be wonderfully cheesey and fun. Nowhere near the worst movie ever. X-mas fun!

No need to make it a high priority, as Don’t Open Till Christmas doesn’t have much to offer even for diehards such as myself.
The opening murder mystery back-story in Deep Red happens during Christmas and the movie is an excellent holiday watch. Silent Night Bloody Night doesn’t get enough credit although the title is a little misleading. The movie isn’t entirely centered on the holiday. The Curse of the Cat People, Rabid, The “All Thorough the House” entry in Tales From the Crypt (1972), and Maniac all have Christmas mayhem in them.

Ah the holiday threads begin again. Ive seen Dont open till Xmas and it's nothing to get excited about, a slow paced badly colored British film with lackluster acting. However, it's never a waste of time to see Santas being slaughtered, especially ones trying to get some action on the street corner :D
I've STILL not seen Black Christmas! Netflix quit carrying it...right when I joined. Never can get ahold of that stupid movie, it's my white whale.
Gremlins happened around Christmas time (part of it) but is it really holiday horror???
Saw the first Silent Night Deadly Night. Same as Dont Open in ways but a bit cooler I guess. Need to rewatch it, been years.

Without a doubt, the classic Gremlins is at the top of my list. Sure, it's not blood and guts, but it's still damn fun.

That was Andy's birthday, not Christmas.
Strangely enough though, my birthday is on Christmas Eve and I'm pretty sure my girlfriend has got me the script that Alex Vincent used on the set of Child's Play.
Actually that's not strange at all.

Aldo Lado’s Night Train Murders takes place during the Christmas season and opens up with a street corner Santa getting mugged by the film’s villains.

Silent Night, Deadly Night--with Mary Woronov, worth a look.
For New Years, if you like stinkers, New Year's Evil.

I have Silent Night Deadly Night 1 and 2 and Black Christmas. I must love Xmas horror.
Actually I can't stand SNDN. Black Chirstmas though is still good after all these years.

Silent Night Deadly Night 5 is a fun xmas themed horror flick...b-movie and straight up cheese all the way through but fun and some good gore.

Black Xmas is a must see film for sure and not only for christmas time.
It's a really creepy slasher, atmospheric and the killer is clearly insane.
Watch this film rather alone than with a bunch of friends, this is not a pop-corn movie.
It goes about atmosphere and is goes serious, too.

Black Christmas rocks. I just bought the DVD and it still creeps you out after all these years.
I also have Silent Night, Bloody Night, and will probably watch it tomorrow night.

Jack Frost 1 and 2! Can't believe nobody has mentioned these yet. The first is a classic. A CLASSIC I TELL YOU.

I actually had more fun with Jack Frost 2 then the first...if your into that comedic-horror cheeseball stuff then yes very recommended. I'm sure that and Santas Slay would go pretty well together.
Sadly NetFlix isn't carrying Santas Slay for me and I can't get it in time to watch before Xmas or on Xmas itself. :(
