Sorry to say that I was bored with this teaser.

Seemed just a tiny bit interesting to see "the lady" moving in the water near the end but that lasted for about a second so yeah...

unmoved thus far.

As uninteresting as that trailer was and as scarred as I am from the awfulness of The Village, so far I'm staying away from this one.

The few people who've seen the teaser are sayin that it's not as scary as the previous ones.

I haven't seen it myself but if it's not THAT scary...i'm guessin Shyamalan's making a conscious effort to stay true to the movie.
In the case of 'the village', the movie was quite obviously mismarketed as a horror/thriller...it ended up being a romantic-suspense movie.

So i guess this time around, he doesn't want to mislead the audience in any slightest way.

Its not scary becuase its NOT a scary movie.

What do you think a BEDTIME STORY means? Its aimed at a younger audience.

(I keep saying this but people forget before Sixth sense, Night wrote Stuart Little and JAmes and the GIant Peach. KIDS movies.)

Then I'm wondering, is there any sources that he may have derived this story from, since those other two are based on books? Because I'd love to check his inspirations out before (tepidly) seeing the film.

Are we sure Lady in the Water is going to be a kids' movie? Is that confirmed? Just being called a bedtime story in the teaser is not enough for me

Truthfully, I'm sick of Shyamalan's movies after The Village which was absolute garbage. Everyone goes nuts when he has a new movie coming and I don't understand why.
