I missed Tony Jaa in Ong-Bak, but after being very Lucky and got to see his Last Flick Tom Yung Goong, now I know, I have to see Ong-Bak aswell...

Being now in Hong Kong got me the Pleasure to see this Movie, which is suposse to hit USA Cinemas on December 2006!! , Europe about February 2006..

I was Phascinated about Tony Jaa.. which is a mix between Jackie Chan and Jet Li.. Amazing Stuff, Amazing Fights... almost no Cuts and looking Damm realistic.. very very Powerfull...

There is one big Fight Scene going on thru different Floors, a couple of Minutes Long, Stunts all over the Place, all shot in ONE Scene !!! .. The Documentary says it took about 4 Shots to get made.. Crazy...

The Story starts in Thailand (as the Movie is a Thai Production) .. Beautifull Shots.. anyway.. This Guy , Kham has being raised together with Elephants, so now, 2 of his better Elefriends being illegaly imported to Australia make him go to Sydney to kick some ass and rescue them... so, The Plot is easy and the Rest is just FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT... getting a Videogame Feeling, since the Fight thru the different "levels" and fighting thru all the Charachteres getting a lot of Final Bosses thru the Ride...

So, As an Action Fight Movie, is A MUST SEE... Seriously, if u think Jason Statham kick ass... Watch Tony Jaa.. not that cool guy.. but the Fights are for sure 10 Times more Impressive.

The action scenes were great. Looks like a combination of Jacky Chan and Jet Li, but somehow he, Tony Ja, has created his own style of fighting as well.

However, to me, the storyline story really needs some improvement. There were many points in the movie that make no sense. For example, when Kham's dad was trying to prevent an elephant from being taken by a local politician. That politician got pissed off and suddenly shoot him despite of they are among the people in a festival.

Anyway, just the action scenes are enough to make this movie worth seeing and putting it into my collection.

hmmm, im not sure about this one, after seeing Ong-Bak i really hated the direction and Jaa's acting (he's an excellent martial artist though) so im not hopeful of my liking this either

If it is as crazy as Ong Bak, then I will definantly be seeing this.

The fighting in Tom Yum Goong won’t be AS "real" as it is in Ong-bok (emphasis on the word "as"), begin that they're not using actual Thai fighters for dummies. They use hollywood stuntmen instead.
