Inconsistancy in DVD packaging

Maybe I am a totally obsessive/compulsive asshole, but I fucking HATE when there is a series of dvds, and the packaging differs from movie to movie, look at House of 1000 Corpses, and the Devils Rejects, 2 completely different case styles, then you have Harry Potter, the first 2 are in the same kind of original package, then the third rolls out with a standard dvd case (which pisses me off to no end), X-men 1.5 and X2 - different cases..... IF YOU ARE GOING TO USE ONE TYPE OF CASE FOR A MOVIE, USE IT ON THE SEQUEL....QUIT FUCKING UP THE LOOK OF MY COLLECTION!!!

I would gladly double-dip on any repackaging that will fix this ridiculous fucking oversight, as much as I hate double dipping, it would be worth it, especially in the case of Harry Potter - I mean, what the fuck was that shit anyway? revenge for Alphonso Cuaron's cool, yet nowhere near as good directing?


FUCK!!!! all I ask for is a little common sense, Am I the only one that would like to murder the dickhead who makes these kinds of decisions ass? "hmmm.....let's see, the first one had supercool packaging, and hey! the second one is the same.....fuck it, let's save 35 cents AND fuck up the consistancy of our fans, and make the generic style case for this badboy....fanboys will fucking grab this shit anyway."

WOW!!! I don't think I've ever heard a complaint about this before. To go along with your first sentence, I wouldn't go so far as using the term "asshole", but then again I don't know ya. As for the O/C part....maybe just a little. Just as long as the contents are good, then I'm happy. Hell, as long as the contents are there, I'm happy.

yeh dude i hear ya, what the fuck is up with that shit?? i wanna fuckin kill the cocksuck about the harry potter dvds part 3.parts 1 and 2 looks awesome then part three comes out and im like what the fuck is this shit, it not like parts 1 and 2. it totally ruined the collection.

I feel the same way about the new Simpsons DVDs. I like how they decided to make seasons 6-10 the characters' heads, but now they're mainly offering season 7 as a normal DVD set, with the Marge head barely available, so I'll just have a Homer head sticking out like a sore thumb
