LOL, I've got to say this is the funniest movie I've seen recently.
I watched this at 4 in the AM and it brought me to tears at some scenes. Billy Bob Thornton's performance is just no bars hold. It's got so much hilarious cussing. And that scene in the ring with the midget and the fat kid and 'bad santa' when they kick each other in the nuts, and when billy bob kicks the midget in the nuts, lol the way the elf goes down is hilarious...like a BRICK, lmfao, I kept rewinding that scene a few times in slow motion (DVR). Such a funny comedy movie.

It's one of the best Christmas movies ever made! It's right up there with GREMLINS, DIE HARD, LETHAL WEAPON, SCROOGED, and ELF!

"ARE YOU FUCKING WITH ME!"
I love this movie. It really has no plot, all it is is vulgor language and bad behavior, but I'll be Goddamned if it aint funny as hell!

Yes, such a great movie. The best line has got to be:
Willie: What do you want?
Boy: Fraggle-Stick car.
Willie: What the fuck is that?

Yeah but Cloris Leachman stole the show if you ask me. The scene when they think she is dead is great. Also when Santa first meets her with a ski mask on and she wants to make him a sandwich. Classic.

Sure it does. There's Christmas music all throughout, and it takes place just before Christmas! It puts me in the spirit! :D

I saw this in the theater with my parents. The scene where he is fucking the large woman in the ass in the dressing room...whew, talk about uncomfortable moments.
Anyways, I absolutely love this movie. It's become a new holiday mainstay with me and my friends. We get together and watch 'National Lampoons Christmas Vacation' every year and now we watch this as well.

"Oh, yeah, baby. You won't be able to shit right for a week!"
Great movie. It's a holiday classic, a title usually reserved for fare like A Christmas Story or It's A Wonderful Life. The best character arc for the Thornton is...there is none. He remains the same unctious, foul-mouthed, and bitter person, but he's all the more lovable for it.
This movie is so great, but it had a terrible marketing campaign. The trailers didn't give any hint of the vulgarity and darkness of the film. I wonder how many people expected a family-type movie (hopefully none as the rating should have warned them).
