I was wondering what everybody thought on the movies:
M
Battle potemkin
Metropolis
I just wanna hear what you have to say and if anybody recommends any of them. Sorry if there is a thread where i can post this.

M - excellent movie, the acting, the dialogue, the cinamatography, it all came together beautifully
Metropolis - best silent movie ever made
Battleship Potemkin - not for everyone, but if you can enjoy movies that take thought and are made as works of art then you will see this for what it is, a masterpiece.

The only movie i ever saw where i really had to think would be eternal sunshine of the spotless mind(A.K.A best film of 04') and there were some hitcock films that i didn't get half the time like north by northwest, spellbound, vertigo and the man who knew too much. Though i loved them i'm not sure if it was because of the sound effect(in old movies its hard to hear what some are saying) or that i really didn't get it. If battle potemkin is really a thinker than maybe i'll wait a couple years till I'm in my mid teens. As far as M goes i'll try and see but it is in german and when you look at the plot I'm not so sure if my dad will be so happy about it. Metropolis looks really good to you guys so though I've never seen I'll definitely check it out unless that is a thinker too:)

Three great movies. Fritz Lang and Seirgei Eisenstein are two of the greatest movie director ever, and those three ,ovies are freaking awesome. My favorite is M., I own M. and Metropolis, I'm gonna buy Potepkin soon.
