Alright, I just went on a trip overseas and the inflight movie on the way down was Fantastic Four. Okay, not a bad choice - pretty good overall demographic. Can't go wrong with a comic book movie. I'd already seen the movie, so I just watched most of it without putting on the headphones and listening to it.

On the way back, they showed Ice Princess!!! What guy is going to watch that?? On the little magazine in the pouch that promotes the airline, there was Charlie and the Chocolate Factory being promoted all over the pages. Freakin' Aye, I'm trying to pass the time on the four hour flight - but there's no way I'm going to watch the Ice Princess. C'mon, show something that MOST people could enjoy - not just twelve year old girls.

It's a tweener movie, Red. That's how Hilary Duff has survived in Hollywood (though from her skeletal frame, she's not spending the money on food).

I actually liked Ice Princess. It was much better than I was expecting. I thought the characters had more depth than they typically do in these kinds of movies. Especially the Kim Cattrall and Joan Cusack characters.
