In the last bit of the story on Dogma 2, the author refers to Alanis Morissette as the last Scion. Alanis's character was God in Dogma. Linda Fiorentino's character was in fact the Last Scion...:)

yeh, not sure what they were trying to say there. alanis playing the last scion wouldn't make sense simply because she was God. there's no way she could be the daughter of bethany (linda fiorentino). had me a little confused.

as intriguing as mr. smith's dogma sequel sounds, especially with his description of the story, i'm not sure i'd like to see this one made. i never thought i'd live to see the day a "clerks" sequel was made, let alone a "dogma" one. stick to the jersey flicks and characters, but let's get some new ideas here. i don't want kevin smith to turn into a sequel machine, especially a man who's so original.

i think Bethany's daughter could look like God. Afterall, God was one of the parents (sort of). I dont think its an unreasonable idea, i just think its stupid and shouldn't be done.

Dogma 2 wont work and im pretty sure if Clerks 2 hits at all someone will green light it for him.

I love Dogma for its humor and philosphical views. There is really no need to make a Dogma Sequel Ihope Kevin Smith doesn't make one. There is a point to the first Dogma with the whole differences between Beliefs and ideas, the purpose of religion, God's identity and how interpertations of scripture can be used in many ways. I don't see what a sequel would add to the already solid movie.

I hope there's no Dogma 2 -- not because i worry Smith will become a "sequel machine" but because I really don't like Kevin Smith. I've yet to find any of his movies even a fraction as funny as seemingly everyone I know does. I don't think he's a bad filmmaker necessarily (although Jersey Girl was total crap) -- just one who's not actually as clever as he and his legion of fans seem to think he is.
