Wrapped
Tuesday 22 November 2005 @ 9:25 am
We wrapped production on Friday, 11/18/05 at about 11:30 at night. The shoot really couldn’t have gone any better. Hands down, my favorite shoot of all seven. And based on the hour and fifteen minutes I’ve already cut together, it’s also - hands down - my favorite flick I’ve ever made. It knocked “Amy” out of my top-spot.
Can’t wait to show ya’ll. Thanks for the support throughout production.
Better then Amy, huh… I have heard from various and dependable sources (people who’ve been on set) that this flick is extremely funny. *Minor Spoilers* There will be pleanty of donkey shows (running joke from JSBSB), pleanty of “ass-cock chugging”, pleanty of NAMBLA boots, and NAMBLA sandwiches to go around… with a HUGE twist… whatever that means. *End spoilers*
Can’t wait.

I really dont see it being better than Chasing Amy. That being said, I can't fucking wait. I'll be there on opening day.

Better than Amy? That'll be tough, although I am highly looking forward to this film.

"clerks" is my favorite film of mr. smith. "chasing amy" is a great, romantic comedy that's also pretty serious. the most serious i've seen smith, because it seems so personal. there's no way "clerks 2" will match that. there's no way.
it will depend on what you're looking for. from smith, i'm looking for something like "clerks" - a vulgar, smart, less serious comedy that will have you laughing your ass off. if that's what you're looking for, this movie could very well be better than "chasing amy". for me, i don't know if it will live up to "clerks".
but with smith speaking so highly of it, i can't wait. he normally belittles his own work.

If Smith says its the best that hes made then I will definately have to check it out. Unfortunately I have never seen Clerks 1 though. But I really enjoyed Dogma.

I adequately trust the man to know when he's exaggerating and when he's telling the truth about his films. I'm expecting the same as Clerks, if not better. This film will be funny. I’ve heard some of the shit that goes down in the flick, and they are indeed funny… total Clerks humor. People will be very pleased with the outcome of this flick.

Can't wait for this. It's been far too long since the last Jersey flick.

Is anyone else keeping up with the Train Wreck: The making of Clerks 2, from the website?
It actually has some funny shit, behind the scenes.
