While surfing on Wikipedia I came across 2007 in film, and the first title was "28 Weeks Later"

First of all, I do not know if this has been known by anyone on the forums or if this is something unheard of and new.

But here is what the summary says

"There are talks in report for a sequel. It would be called 28 Weeks Later..., implying that it would take place several months after the first film. Rowan Joffe is in talks to write the script, and Danny Boyle and Alex Garland will take a producing role along side Andrew Macdonald. According to the listing on the Internet Movie Database, the plot will revolve around the idea of Americans arriving about six months after the incidents in the original film and attempting to revitalize an empty Britain. The cast of the original film are being reported as not returning for this film."

I like the idea of americans coming to britain to restore the life there.

The first movie was shit, there's no need for a pointless sequel.

The first one was pretty good, but I agree that a sequel would suck ass.

So it has nothing to do with the monsters from the first film?

Adding the Americans to it will dilute the novel, British feel of the original, making it seem like any other horror flick.

We don't need it to have the number 28 in the title.

Then it should be funny that there are two Brits attached to it then, no? I think so.

I would see this. I really enjoyed the first one, and would be willing to give a sequel a chance. Though, I do agree they should try something besides sticking 28 in the title.

Damn! I had held out hope that at least one decent horror film would resist the urge to make an unnecessary sequel. I should have known better.
